The restaurant is so inviting. Decorated with attention to detail, it makes you feel at home. Excellent, competent service. The food is varied and cooked to perfection. We liked it so much, we dined there three times during our holiday.

We've eaten at Il Desco twice and will be back again soon. We have eaten in their lovely little garden and inside, which is elegant. However, the owner and wait staff are down to earth and genuinely friendly. The pumpkin soup is to die for and with a perfect "chocolate cake with a tender heart" on the dessert list, need I say more. Everything we've had has been very fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. When in Ascoli, this place is not to be missed.

I ate here with a party of 11 others recently and was very impressed with the quality of the food. Even though we dined mid week, the restaurant was very busy, always a good indication. The entrance to the restaurant is stunning, the interior is bright and inviting and the staff are attentive, pleasant and speak good English. Menu is very traditional, Food is well seasoned and the chocolate dessert in particular is incredible. A fantastic experience overall.

Ok, it might not sound original - and this restaurant is already ranked no.1 in Ascoli Piceno - but this is certainly one of the best ten meals I've ever had. The food is innovative, very tastefully presented. The restaurant had plenty of space, even when it was nearly full. The service was impeccable, attentive, fast and extremely friendly. And the food was heavenly. The fried olives, a local specialty, you won't find anywhere better, so light and elegant.
A wonderful place and for really fair prices.

After finally finding Il Desco (after dodging speeding cars that look like pregnant roller skates) down dark streets, we were welcomed by a stone walled entry studded with miniature white lights. The dining rooms are decked in white cloths and chairs, both crisp and elegant. We opted to eat outside, in a tiny garden area in the rear of the restaurant, where the chairs are white, lavender and green and have plexiglass seats (?!?). But the food, the food, is wonderful. We opted for a tasting menu, and from the pumpkin flan to the bolognese, to the baccala and the chocolate lava cake....each item stood on its own and was delicious. When in Ascoli Piceno, don't miss this treasure....and the service is as good as the meal.
