Stayed for 4 nights in conjunction with a congress. Had the congress not suggested it, I would have probably stayed closer to the center of town.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, though even though my room was non-smoking, the lingering stench of cigarettes hung heavy in the room at times.
Breakfast was included and was very good. Enjoyed the coffee and croissants!
Internet was not included and you had to pay extra.
The front desk was always helpful and informative, though didn't go out of their way for anything.
All in all an average stay.

Wifi is 10 Euro for 3 days.

The ground floor room we had was spacious, smelled of stale cigarettes, tv was very old and small, complimentary minibar consisted of water and a couple of soft drinks.

Breakfast very basic, same every day nothing cooked. Other than youhurt / cereals, it consisted of slices of processed ham, cheese slices, toast and left over sweet from the previous evening's meal.

Evening meals were quite..... unmemorable and unexciting.

We chose Arezzo (and this hotel) as a stepping-stone to drive through Tuscany, and our first driving experience in Italy we didn't want to attempt to drive out of Florence. This hotel has great access to the motorways (less than 10 minutes, and you're away!) and is across the street from a great car rental office! Not really walking distance from the train station, but you can catch a bus, that will drop you off directly in front of the hotel. It's also about a 15-minute walk from Arezzo Cathedral.

Hotel-wise, the staff were great! Restaurant was okay - very 80's style - but breakfast was great. Rooms were very clean and spacious and modern!

Thoroughly recommend to use as a gateway to exploring Tuscany by car!

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor facing the city centre instead of the parking lot

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our classical tour of Italy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and basic. Food was adequate, but we weren't expecting 5*. The waiters were friendly and service was excellent. It was only a short walk into Arezzo, a beautiful town. Can recommend the restaurant burro and succo, 5 minutes from the hotel. Be warned, however, as is the norm in Italy, food was plentiful and consisted of 4 courses, all beautifully cooked. Real value for money. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was only in need of a place to sleep for one night in Arezzo and a close friend booked this for me. The hotel is really nice. It's large, clean, elegant and modern. My room was very large compared to all the other places I've been to and very well kept. The A/C was silent and worked beautifully. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was clean and had the best water pressure to use those massage jets! The hotel offers a large parking facility where you feel your rental car will be safe overnight. We weren't rushed for our check-out and I felt the price for the night was low for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel is close to the city center. I highly recommend staying here. It's a great value.

The hotel Minerva in Arezzo is a good value four star hotel in a good location. The rooms are clean and a reasonable size. The food served was average for Italy, nothing special but ok.Aten minute walk takes you into the town of Arezzo, which is a lovely little town, with plenty to see.

Room Tip: We travelled as a group and all rooms seemed to be of equal standard

This is a very well run hotel. It caters for coach parties as well as individuals and has worked out how to reduce the impact of these groups on each other. For instance they set up two fully catered breakfast rooms, one for the coach parties and one for the individual guests. The staff in the restaurant, bar and reception were all helpful and professional. The food in the restaurant was decidedly average but that may be because we were a coach party working to a budget. We were all served promptly though and the local wine was good value at 13 euro per bottle
Our room at the front of the hotel had brilliant sound insulation (Italians seem to like late night rides on their motorbikes) and had an ample bedroom (with fridge), a dressing room with wardrobe and working safe, and a large travertine tiled bathroom with an excellent shower.
We were there during a heat wave and were impressed that the air conditioning was working all day in the room, even when the card was removed from the light actuator.
The hotel has a large car park and there is a bar and small supermarket on the 10 min walk towards the lovely old part of town.
I almost rated this as hotel as excellent but thought it was let down slightly by the food (breakfast and dinner) so I ended up with 'very good.' I would be very happy to stay there again if we go back to the delightful Arezzo.
