“Mixed feelings about the AC Arezzo”
Reviewed August 25, 2007

Stayed for one night at the AC Arezzo. The room and the bathroom were very modern, clean and nicely furnished. The hotel was almost empty (we arrived on a sunday late afternoon) and it felt pretty strange. The staff were not really helpful and barely polite. The breakfast was OK but the coffee was almost cold and the waiter was nowhere to be found and we had to drink it that way. Finally, a word about the location: if you don't have a car, don't stay here. Otherwise it's just a ten minutes ride to the city.

Simply put, Arezzo best!!!
I have been coming to Arezzo for the past 10 years on business, used to stay at other places becouse AC only opened a few years ago. I was one of their first customers when they finally opened and have only stayed here ever since.
Staff is great, minibar is free, rooms are modern and comfortably and, yes, wifi is fast!
Take it from someone that comes here a lot and if your in town, stay here!

Every time my wife wants to go to the Prada outlet and the Mall in Tuscany, we'd stay at this little hotel. It is a simple hotel with modern-looking clean rooms. The minibar is free too. The AC chain has a lot of nice hotels. They are all very similar. None of them offer 5-star luxury but are very modern looking and clean. We stayed there when it first opened and it was awesome. Now the quality seems to have dropped a little bit. I guess it is because it's a bit older now. But the standard of this chain is still way better than acceptable.

Two years ago my wife and I stayed in AC 10 Hotel in Genova for a week and were very much impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, complimentary drinks and fruit, service and excellent food. This year we were back to an AC 10 Hotel, this time in Arezzo where `La vita e` bella` was filmed. We were looking for an easy to reach, no problem parking and quite surroundings hotel and we found all this in the AC 10. The city centre is just 3 kilometres away and you can park free in Piazza G. Pietri which is joined to the Centro Storico by means of mobile steps. Arezzo`s Centro Storico is unique. It combines the old with the modern trends subtly and so one can fill in with history while still shop around and eat in one of the many good Italian restaurants that there are. Personally we preferred the AC 10 restaurant since its vast menu comprises excellent Italian fare at a good price with no cover charge. Its lobby is fantastic with its complimentary bar, snacks and fruit. The complimentary drinks in the room fridge were also appreciated as was the modern bathroom and king size bed. In all we found this Hotel simply fantastic and we look forward to visit the other AC 10 Hotels in Italy and in Spain. When we left it was like leaving home and not just a Hotel. Thanks AC 10.

While this may not be your typical Tuscan hotel, it is a fantastic place for the business traveller or anyone traveling who's not looking for the authentic Tuscan "vibe" in their lodging. Very new rooms with FANTASTIC bathrooms, splendid lobby and restaurant, and delicious meals. Wireless internet is also available for a hefty fee, as is usually the case in Italy. (Roughly 88 Euro per week.)

The location is not within walking distance to the city centre, but remains easily accessible by car in less than 5 minutes.

Perhaps the best feature of the AC Hotel is the AC Lounge - an area in the lobby open each day from noon to 8pm where you can find waters, soft drinks, croissants and other snacks, fresh fruit and "serve your own" alcohol for making drinks. Complimentary at that!

Staff was very helpful and spoke proficient English when dealing with non-Italian speaking guests.

Truly, a delightful hotel and I cannot wait to return when my next business trip in Arezzo rolls around.

We have just returned from 15 days in Italy. In planning our trip we knew that we don't deal well with jet lag. We wanted to rent a car in Rome and drive to a town where we could rest up while seeing eastern Tuscany. Our criteria were simple--easy access and plentiful parking. We chose Arezzo, and stayed at the Hotel AC.
First let me warn you, this hotel might as well be located at a conference center in Omaha. It isn't quaint; it isn't even very Italian. But it is welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, well lit and well furnished. The facility is impeccably clean. But the thing that makes it stand out is the attitude. You are guests not customers. Each room has a minibar stocked with mineral water and fruit juice. It's free. If your minibar is running low, each floor as a refrigerator filled with more. There is also a bowl of fruit. If you are hungry at a time when the restaurant isn't open, go to the lobby where snacks are provided. There is even an area with Scotch, Vodka, Gin and Rum if you want to mix yourself a drink. You are a guest; it's free.
The staff is young, professional and helpful. Their friendliness was an added bonus. I would recommend the Hotel AC Arezzo.
