My husband and I stayed at Poggio del Drago for 7 nights having read the wealth of glowing reviews on Tripadvisor and would not hesitate to recommend it. Emanuele is a wonderful host and gave us a very warm welcome.

The B&B is newly renovated and the pictures are very representative - funky coloured chandeliers in the bedrooms and a beautiful outside area complete with swimming pool overlooking the olive groves - very peaceful and tranquil.

Breakfast each morning was lovely - a feast of sliced meats, cereals, juices, all served around a large family style table as all the guests ate together. The coffee machine was a very welcome addition!

The B&B is around 20 minutes drive from Arezzo and it's close proximity to the A1 motorway positioned us well for day trips around various other towns - all of which were within an hours drive: Florence, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, and Cortona are all well worth a visit and with a week's stay you'll have plenty to occupy you.

There is nothing I can say but what an awesome B&B!!!!!! Emanuele is the most awesome and accommodating host. He goes the extra mile to make sure you that your stay at this wonderful place is one that makes you want to come back. From the view, the swimming pool, the beautiful rolling lawns, the flower gardens, the great breakfasts, to the lovely clean and comfortable rooms, it is all rolled in to one, to make this hideaway 5 Star!
My only advise is that you do need to have a vehicle, as it is a twenty minute or so drive into Arezzo, and only a few minutes from a quaint little village called Ponticino....
My husband and I highly recommend Poggio Del Draggo for that special romantic and peaceful get away!!!! You'll love it!
Thank you Emanuele for making our stay so memorable.

My wife Beth and I picked this B&B out of a number of options to spend a part of our honeymoon. Not ever having been to Italy or the Tuscany area, we had to rely on feedback like this to assist us with our final choice which is why I'm taking the time to share our experience. This place was AWESOME! The setting is something out of a movie and Emanuele's hospitality is above and beyond. From the moment we drove up, until the day we departed he was always making sure not only us but everyone staying was very happy. The house is beautiful and he has modernized it as well as a 5 star hotel in the USA. You will love it too..... We are already making plans to go back and this B&B will be a part of our travel plans. I encourage you also to make this a part of your itinerary. Ciao

On our ay to Arezzo from Montepulciano, we found this amazing B&B on Tripadvisor... We couldn't do a better choice! Emanuele restored this wonderful casale near Arezzo with a new interior design concept. Everything was clean and it was like being at home... We felt like in a 5 star hotel... And the price not higher than the one in the other Tuscan accommodations we found on our way from Collina del Chianti to Val D'Orcia.
Unfortunately we had just one day to spend there... But we would come back straight away!
We had no problems with the road, sometimes with a sport car this could be a matter (often roads are not so good in those "rustical" locations). Delicious Italian and international breakfast, highly recommended! Thanks Emanuele!!!

We (family with 2 kids) stayed at Poggio del Drago for four days in March. Emmanuele is a great host and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The B&B is very nicely decorated and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast was truly great! The location is perfect for trips to Arezzo, Siena and even Florence (just 1hr drive). We certainly will come again!
