We experienced an outstanding week at Poggio del Drago. Everything from our room, breakfast, and the host Emanuele was excellent. The property, which includes a pool and comfortable sun beds, is very clean, peaceful and relaxing. All of the modern ammenities set in an old farmhouse made for a comfortable stay. All of the guests had complimentary unlimited use of the espresso machine, and were given space in a fridge to store extra food or beverages. Emanuele had great suggestions for dinner and sightseeing spots. Many of the main tourist spots are within an hours drive, but we discovered several local sights with no crowds that have the same experiences as the main tourist attractions. We would recommend visiting the medieval village of Anghiari and Il Boro, and Castelo di Meleto in Gaiole in Chianti for wine tasting. We have loved everything about our stay, and would highly recommend staying here.
