Andrea picked us up from our hotel . From there we went to Montepulchiano to visit this amazing ancient wine cellar. Andre arranged a wine tastiing that included samples of Tuscany foods. It was Incredible!!! From there we went to Cortona to meet Sara for a tour around this charming town.Sara did a great job explaining the history . then dinner at their favorite restaurant that was off the charts delicious . Thank you Andre and Sara for making our trip very special!!!! It was great to meet you and hang out for the day. MF Cardamone

“Worth every Euro!”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Andrea picked us up at our hotel in Arezzo, and we were off for a wonderful day in the Tuscan countryside. We (my husband, myself, and our college-age daughter) toured two small, family- owned wineries, and now have a brand new appreciation for the wines of Montalcino. It was especially nice to be welcomed into their homes, sit at their table, and sample their fine wines, their olive oils, and especially their warm hospitality. We had a nice lunch at a small restaurant where all the pasta is made on the premises---it was so good! To cap the day off, we stopped at a centuries-old Abbey in the countryside just in time to hear the monks chanting. Andrea was a wonderful guide, giving us lots of tips and pointers for the rest of our trip across Italy....he even made dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant so we could continue our day "off the tourist grid". Of our time spent in Venice, Rome, and Florence, this day was our most memorable, and one we would do again. The wines we purchased on our tour arrived today, and we look forward to sharing them with our friends and neighbors and maybe rekindle a bit of the Tuscan hospitality we experienced!

“Highlight of our Trip!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

My husband and I, along with our daughter who was studying at a university in Arezzo, had the pleasure of a wine tour with Very Tuscany. Sara picked us up at our hotel and drove us through the beautiful Chianti region to visit some wineries. She was a delightful tour guide---well informed about Italy's history and equally well-informed about wine. The wineries that were selected for our visit made us feel very welcome and allowed us to spend time both touring the winery and tasting the wines. Sara chose a wonderful dining spot for lunch....surely a place we would have never encountered on our own. Very Tuscany allowed us a wonderful experience and one that we will always remember.

“Travel with an Expert”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Andrea met us in Orvieto to take us to a prearranged lunch, before we settled in Arezzo for three nights. In the three days we spent with Very Tuscany, we could not fault Andrea's knowledge, especially when it came to visiting wineries, cheese makers and locations that are off the high volume tourist trail. He was always on time to collect us, and happy to be flexible when we made snap decisions about the next place we wished to see.

“Amazing wine tour of Chianti and San Gimignano!”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

My husband and I and my in laws used Very Tuscany in September 2012 to visit wineries in Chianti and San Gimignano. Andrea picked us up in a very nice van on time at our B&B in Bettolle. He took us to Monterinaldi Winery in Chianti (AMAZING grounds and great wine) and Marmoraia Winery in San Gimignano (one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen from here and great wine wine!). Andrea was very professional and courteous and took us to two wineries we wouldn't have normally been able to get ourselves to. It was so nice to have a driver while wine tasting. Andrea customized this tour for us and can do that for anyone. We would recommend it to any of our friends and family!
