Agriturismo La Striscia is really a place of treatment. The personal touch of Marco, the good wine, home made dinners and the beautiful rooms makes it feel like home. Arezzo is a strategic place to the rest of Tuscany. Just enjoy the advice of the owners to get into the real Italian life!

We stayed two nights at Agriturismo La Striscia and found it to be a wonderful retreat in Tuscany, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and rolling hills! Our apartment in the historic, romantic stone farmhouse was everything we could have hoped for - quiet, comfortable, beautifully appointed - and our daily breakfast offered many different delicious options. We were greeted warmly by Comfi, who showed us around the property and made sure we were settled in our apartment, and Maria was a pleasure at breakfast. The manager, Marco, was warm and inviting - treated us like special guests, with directions, dinner recommendations, whatever was needed - even a reservation at a great restaurant in historic Arezzo. We were very pleased and would love to have stayed on longer!

We rented the entire Villa (all apartments) to celebrate my 50th birthday with my family. From the moment we arrrived everything was better then we had hoped. The welcome dinner was "perfecto"! It is fabulous to have individual apartments . Each unit is individual and special in it's own way. The grounds are beautiful with lovely areas that allow time to rest , read and nap outdoors. The Villa is surrounded by acres of Tuscan contryside , Cypress trees and vineyards! If you have fantasized from books or photographs- this is the real thing! The pool area is beautiful. Every morning the smell of brewing coffee and homebaked cakes will wake you. You will be treated to a wonderful homemade breakfast including speciality cakes, yogurt, cheeses/meat ,eggs etc. The table settings alone are so lovely it is a joy to the eyes! You can enjoy the premises and with a short walk you are in the beautiful town of Arezzo. Arrezzo is a real gem. La Striscia's unique location is a super plus, plus, plus! Many Villa's are located far outside of town and to get anywhere you need to take your car. It is a fabulous benefit to be able to walk into town for dinner or lunch and not be concerned about the car, parking or how many bottles of wine you are drinking! When we booked ,I did not even recoginze that this would be such a benefit and I cannot stress how wonderful it is! When you desire to take your car (or hop a train) you can do so easily. Florence ,Seina and many other lovely places are located nearby . Yet, after a day of sight seeing or relaxing poolside , you can stroll into Arezzo and take advantage of the beautiful city. The staff is always available to tend to your needs but you have the freedom to enjoy yourself privately at all times. They seemed to be there when you needed them but always out of your way . You can bring in items to cook. (Arezzo has many lovely shops with cheese, wine bread... mmmmmm!) All of the apartments have indvidual cooking areas. You can have Marco (Manager) arrange for specially prepared lunches or dinners and wine tasting too. We took advantage of all they offered and we were never disappointed. Every meal was made from the freshest ingredients and were regional specialities. Your wish is their command. I had a lovely birthday dinner under the stars! A scene out of a movie. I cry with joy just thinking of it ! Our group was very large and of varying ages and every single one of us had a fabulous time .Do not hesitate! PRESS "BOOK" IMMEDIATELY! Just, let me know when you are going so I can come too!

My friend rented out the property for a wedding. We all stayed here for a week. The rooms and property are beautiful. The fire at night was perfect. We drank plenty of wine and good food. Breakfast was prepared every morning. The walk into Arrezzo was lovely. Only a short train trip into Florence. I didnt want to leave.

We were in La Striscia in July 2011 and I must say it was a very pleasant and nice stay, our apartment Ilaria was a small apartment but very cosy and with the advantage of a private garden where I spent hours reading and relaxing. In general the Villa is wonderful with a very nice Toscana atmosphere.
The Gardens very romantic and nice, the pool in the middle of the wineyard just amazing.
The attention from the hauskeeping very nice, the Manager is nice but for me a little bit stressed.
And Arezzo is a beautiful city, definetely I would come back .
