First, to confirm what everyone else says: Barbara and her family are great hosts. We felt very genuinely welcomed thoughout our stay of five nights. Our room, facing the street had a very comfortable bed and was quiet at night. Sleep quality was excellent! As far as the breakfast vouchers, we tried the Bar al Duomo, and the Patisserie Stefano. Both were very good, but because the Bar was closer (just up the street) we went there the most and had very sweet service from the young staff there. The bed and breakfast was in the process of constructing a breakfast room so soon the vouchers probably won't be used, but we enjoyed our interactions at the Bar al Duomo. We had been traveling awhile and had accumulated laundry. Barbara helped by sending it out and it came back beautifully done. The entrance floor to the B&B is a marvel. There are two locations in the floor covered by glass where one can see down into a cavernous area which are actually Etruscan and Roman ruins! These were discovered rather recently in the course of the remodel of the building and add a fascinating aspect to this most gracious location. Many thanks, Barbara and family!

Stayed here last weekend for one night. Barbara met me and checked me in. She is so welcoming and such a delightful hostess. Gorgeous accommodation up the top part of Arezzo..close to the Duomo. Highly recommend the B&B.

We spent 2 nights in this lovely 12th century B and B in the historic centre of Arezzo. While the rooms are naturally simple they have everything necessary and Barbara is a delightful hostess. Breakfast is at a choice of cafes for which she gives you vouchers and this adds to the experience. Excellent value for money

We stayed for a couple of nights at the Antiche Mura but we wished we stayed for much longer. It was like living in a fairy tale. The house is beautiful, clean and we loved the blend between modern design and the Etruscan heritage embracing the house.
Barbara and her family were also wonderful and full of life and joy. I couldn't recommend it more. We loved Arezzo as well, so next time we're in Arezzo, we will be staying at the Antiche Mura again. Much love!

We stayed one night at this B&B. Barbara, the owner , gave us directions and was there to greet us, with her warm, welcoming and bubbly personality, when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. Antiche Mura is spotless, modern and charming. The family went to great expense to remodel this building from the 1300's so that it is modern but still has the original charm as well as some of the ancient construction which remains visible through glass. We stayed in the Marilyn room . It was average size for Italy, bright, nice bathroom and a chest to hang clothes and keep your belongings. There was air conditioning which was a nice addition on a very warm night. We had free wifi which worked well. Barbara gave us coupons that we could use at 3 different cafes for breakfast which were right in the centre. We choose a cafe that we had been to, where they make fresh brioche and pastries each morning. I can only say positive comments about this B&B. The price was totally reasonable. We definitely intend to stay there on our next trip to Arezzo which is a charming city with a welcoming group of residents.
