We stayed here with a group of friends in April. The weather turned very cold and wet. The group decided not to turn on the heating as it was an unknown extra expense. Rumours of high charges for heating influenced this decision. The room we had was very cold and damp without any heating. The sun came out on the day we left and we were able to appreciate that we would have enjoyed our stay much more if the weather had been kind to us. We used the services of the local cook one evening and the meal was excellent. Quite a large quantity of food, prepared from fresh produce. We ate at the local restaurant on two occasions. One of these nights was dreadful, with some ordered meals not even turning up. The other night was much better. Not everyone of our group had a car, so we had to travel with others to shop for food. This property is in farmland and public transport cannot be used to access it.
