We were brought here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary last night and the chef personally greeted us. The moment we sat down, we were brought one dish after another of raw seafood served in various ways that i did not think possible. The shrimps and scampies were so fresh they swam in our mouths. The fish carpaccio was out of this stratosphere. I lost count of how many dishes were brought to us but one surpasses the last and then when the primi and secundi arrived, i was ready to throw in the towel but the spaghetti with seafood and fish roe was incredible i could not resist. And we finished with a fish soup that puts all other fish soup to shame. In short, anyone visiting Rome MUST make this short trip to Anzio and experience this culinary paradise. Their seafood is brought in daily by over 100 fishermen so the choice is endless. If you are brave enough, try everything on the menu and fast the next day.
