If your looking for that quintessential little italian restaurant serving local family food then this is worth the visit. If your looking for by the numbers service and attention to details you are going to be disappointed unless you are at a michelin star establishment. Good food by good people is what you will get here. They will ask if you would like antipasto and if you say yes, you will have 3-5 courses of food brought out to share, then you will be asked if you would like a primi or pasta course and may be given an option as to a choice or two. Then you will be asked if you would like a secondi, or meat course and given a choice or two and finally asked if you would like desert. You will also be asked if you would like to have white or red wine with your meal and if you say yes, you will get half litres of your choice. You may also ask for the wine list and there are some pretty good choices. I found a 98 Barbaresco for $45 euros that was completely perfect for our meal and very reasonably priced.
All in all, it was actually too much food for the two of us, but we made friends with the people beside us and ended up having two bottles of wine, and the 6 or 7 courses for about $110 euros. We feasted and had a very memorable evening, we took our time, trusted our hosts and managed to slow down a bit. Don't expect fast service, just roll with it.
