We were reluctant to eat here because there was a person at the door to lure the people inside to eat. We usually interpret this as a signal that the restaurants caters to tourists, is overpriced and serves inferior food, but the contrary was true. We ordered bruschetta with tomatoes for € 3 and received a whole plate filled with them! This is how the portion size in a good Italian restaurant should be, great value for money because they were the best bruschetta we ate during our ten days of holiday. We ordered pasta for a main dish, which was nice. My girlfriend liked the Syrah wine. The interior could have been better though.

The restaurant is located in a nice part of town and has a terrific view of the distant valley of the temples. We had a Risotto prawn dish and regional pasta, both were superb and reasonable prices. Very impressed and would definitely go again next time we are in Agrigento.

The food was average. The service could be better. the location is good, but if you are not seated on the terrace (overlooking the sea)- consider other places.

Given the location, we expected a bit of a tourist trap. It's right in the center of the main strip through town and they boast of their views of the Valley of the Temples. First, the views really are wonderful but what was unexpected was the food. We started with raw, rolled swordfish that was filled with shrimp and other seafood. This was fresh and was served with nice fresh greens. I had Branzino that was baked with honey and pistachios - this was probably one of the best main courses I had in Sicily. My husband had calamari that had been marinated in orange juice. The calamari was fresh and tender and the orange juice added a nice, but not overpowering flavor. In short, don't let the location fool you - this truly is the best of both worlds great views and great food! Thanks to Alfonso at B&B La Casa di El (see my review of that B&B) for recommending this.
