This establishment is a bit outside of Agrigento surrounded by fields and olive groves. Driving up the rutted, dirt road from the highway I was a bit apprehensive but when we entered the restaurant my concerns evaporated. It is truly a remarkable establishment, very professional and somewhat formal as all the servers wore vests and ties. The tables were set with linen table clothes, napkins and high quality flatware. We sat on the terrace with a view of the Greek temples across the valley. Simply enchanting. So to the menu. Of course I had the pizza (kokalos) and it was excellent. My wife had the octopus. We both had an insalata mista to start. The food was very good. Along with a bottle of water and Planeta Segreta wine the cost was E53. A reasonable price considering the quality of the food, the level of service and the ambiance.
