Excellent reception, very helpfull, also with parking. Great tips for visiting Agrigento and the sweet spots of the area. Breakfast was great, the room also! When visiting Agrigento this is the place to stay!

We stayed here for two nights at the end of April, although the apartment block is in the old part of Agrigento, we had little difficulty finding it following our sat nav. We enjoyed meeting Alphonso and were grateful for the local information and recommendations he gave us. The breakfast is excellent and Alphonso obviously makes a special effort to make it exceptional. We ate twice at Terra & Mare, which is five minutes walk from the B & B, and enjoyed the food.

We had the Deluxe suite with balcony and sea view.
Finding the place was not easy, neither was parking. The entrance was unprepossessing.
Alphonso gave us a great welcome, providing tea and pastries. Importantly, he also provided a map of Agrigento and recommended eating places.
The room was fabulous and would not have been out of place in the pages of a glossy magazine. There was a terrific view from the balcony over the coast and towards the temples. The en-suite was of the same high standard.
We took breakfast in the room which we enjoyed very much. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed here with our daughter and son-in-law for one night on April 4, 2013 during a trip to Malta and Sicily. We booked it by e-mailing the owner, Alphonso and it turned out to be a great place to stay. It is located in the old part of Agrigento with the usual narrow, winding streets. The directions and GPS provided by Alphonso allowed us to find his place without difficulty. We had been concerned about parking, but he helped us find a space directly in front of his place.
It doesn't look like a typical B&B when you arrive, in that it is in a high-rise appartment block. But once inside we were very impressed. It is nicely decorated, furnished with interesting pieces of furniture and art. Because there were four of us, we were given a two-bedroom suite to ourselves, which included a very nice sitting room and a breakfast area.
It is obvious that Alphonso is very interested in ensuring that his guests have the best possible experience. He greeted us with juice, coffee and pastries on our arrival and showed us the amenities of the accomodations. One of those amenities is a fantastic view of the Valley of the Temples from each of the bedrooms.
He takes an interest in everything from helping to find parking to providing recommendations, maps and brochures and other information about Agrigento and the surrounding area. He is a great ambassador for the city and area. He recommended several restaurants for the evening and places to buy food for a picnic at the temples the next day. The restaurant we chose (Land and Sea) was very good.
Many others have commented on the fantastic breakfast and we would agree. It was certainly one of the best of our trip.

My husband and I stayed in Alfonso's B&B for one night during our trip through Sicily. We had a very enjoyable stay and a lovely room, overlooking the Valley of Temples and the sea. Alfonso was a great host, who welcomed us with coffee and croissants and even managed to find us a parking space right in front of the house. He explained to us what is worth seeing/doing in Agrigento and made sure we're comfortable and happy guests. The room was excellent and very clean and we would happily stay there again. We even got a little souvenir of Agrigento when we left and we hope to visit Alfonso again on our next trip to Sicily, once our baby is born.

We had a little trouble finding the B&B which is in an unassuming block of flats, but some friendly locals helped. After that the whole experience was lovely. Alfonso sat us down with coffee and cakes and explained where to go for everything. The room was large and wonderfully decorated and everything worked. But the best bit was having the most wonderful breakfast served in our room - 4 different fruit juices, 4 different jams, 6 different pastries, etc. - all home made and beautifully presented.

Wonderful apartment with stunning views over the Valley of the Temple. Comfy bed, luxurious-looking bathroom. On the 11th floor, but there is a lift. We never had to wait for it. The host, Alfonso, will do everything possible to enhance your stay and his breakfasts are extraordinary! The apartment is right in the old part of Agrigento so you can walk to any number of wonderful restaurants of an evening. Alfonso will give you some recommendations! Parking in the street is a nightmare, but Alfonso will give up his parking spot to make sure his guests find a free one. We parked ours, then just left it there!! The train station is about 10minutes walk, and from here you can catch buses to the Valley of the Temples. People are very friendly. We loved our stay.

Room Tip: Pay the bit extra for the suite on the 11th floor!
