“A must-see”

I'll keep it short. Visit this amazing place if you can. Wear comfortable shoes. Take a tour, as the 'Information' boards are woefully inadequate.

“Don't miss this place”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

This place is really interesting, leave time to browse in this, you need more than two hours to do it justice. The museum is in an old Greek building that was converted into a oratorium. We especially liked the presentation of the coins. We didn't understand why the mosaics were so important to see - what were we missing?

Buy the combined ticket and wander round the Temple of Apollo and the other temples. It's only a short walk down the hill from the museum if you don't have transport.

The temples are a unique collection of ancient history, placed in a wonderful site. Not many places can offer such an experience.

“Simply Amazing”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

I recently went here with a tour run by Gate 1 travel. The Tour guide they provided us was so knowledgeable regarding the area and its attractions it made the tour even more special. It is so picturesque and peaceful. There is a lot to see and explore so give yourself at least two hours. There is a snack bar at the end which was clean and offered food and clean restrooms. The history here is Simply Amazing. I suggest getting tour guide who is familiar with this area to make this stop memorable.

“Go up then down !!”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Go to the Valley of the Temples, leave your car in the valley, then by city bus going in the upper part of the city and come down to the valley, savoring every corner of this beautiful city 2500 years of history seem intact. Eat at the local diner, avoid restaurants.
If you love taking pictures this is the right place, I remind you that it takes at least 3 hours, comfortable shoes, drink plenty of water, better if you buy it in the local store
