we were visiting the valle dei templi and had no idea there was a garden that could be visited; we did see the orchard down below as we were visiting that part of the valley, and upon seeing it thought it would be amazing to go down there, when suddenly we found ourselves in front of the entrance and realised that indeed it could be visited, for the very affordable sum of 2 euros, which not only gives you access to the whole area (which is rather large), but also lets you taste the delicious fruit grown in the orchard (the oranges weren't ripe yet, but we had lots of truly delicious mandarins).
without exaggeration, stepping into this orchard is like entering another realm from long ago (at least in low tourist season), it was so quiet and the vegetation so bountiful and luscious... we felt totally refreshed at the end of our walk, full of beautiful images, scents and fruit
definitely a place to visit if you're already in the valle dei templi !
