As we have done for last three years, we spent New Year at the Ariston Molino. As we have come expect, the stay was wonderful and New Year's Eve was spectacular. The staff work extremely hard to make sure the guests' experiences are good and we think it gets better year on year. We're just hoping they start opening for Christmas as well! An added bonus was that the swimming pools were open until 10pm every evening and soaking in a hot pool on a cool December night is bliss!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pools and the hills are lovely but the hotel is systematically upgrading all t...

Location of the hotel to city excellent. We were very happy with our room. Nice view and very quiet. The variety of breakfast could be more pronounced. Had half board and dinner was very tasty and the variety was excellent. The sauna is a little small when the hotel is full, but we found the pools and spas wonderful so that was not a problem. Prices for drinks such as beer or whiskey we found reasonable. Not over charged. Our first time in an Italian Spa and were not disappointed. Would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Our room was 613 and it was a great location. View of the mountains, and the pool area. Close to t...

Since last year (2012), there were a lot of investments for the comfort of the clients. Especially the WIFI, reaching all rooms, including also the restaurant and the swimming pools is a very important "plus". It s important to say that the staff listens at the comments and evaluations of the clients. Breakfast is getting even better with more fresh fruit and fruit salad, with new machines for juice and coffee. All menus are translated in english, german, french and even russian. And the cuisine is delicious!
The Ariston Molino is worth a 4 stars hotel, with a max of comfort, good staff, very goo food, wifi, fantastic in and outdoor swimming pools, all wellness equipment... Could you ask for more?

I read with some sadness the review posted on 2 January. We too, stayed at the same time and the description didn't sound like the same hotel. The food was superb as was the service (and we have stayed at several five star and luxury hotels) and we had a wonderful time. We have been to this hotel before and I am sorry this reviewer was so dissatisfied. This is a good hotel offering good value and I hope this review does not deter other potential clients from booking.

Room Tip: Many of the smaller rooms have been recently refurbished and are good but don't offer the same...

We are guests at the Ariston Molino since the early '80's. This is our place to relax in July. This means read a good book in the shade, close to the pools, biking, visiting the area, Why the Ariston Molino and not one of many others? Because guests are part of "the family". You feel at home. Of course, it can always be better and better, but believe me, it 's part of heaven. And of course you are not obliged to "cure". But you can enjoy a fantastic massage, wellness and fango if you like. The Buja family and direttore Maurizio Saccardin are always hepfull, speaking German, English and French or they help you improving your Italian. Abano is a fantastic location, close to Padova, Venice, Verona and so many others. No need to take the car to go to Venice. Just take the train in the village next door, which leads you in 45 minutes to Venezia ferrovia.

Room Tip: Just ask for a good room at the pool side.

Although in our 60s, we must have been two of the youngest people there! A very strange mixture - we had a lovely spacious and comfortable bedroom with two balconies overlooking the pools, delightful gardens, convenient location, and naturally-heated pools. On the downside, the restaurant was dismal and not particularly friendly; the food quite average; no snacks available at the poolside bar (which closed for lunch) meaning that you either ate in the dismal restaurant or went elsewhere - we did the latter and found a nice and resaonable pizza restaurant nearby.

Staff poolside liked guests to obey their rules - for example, one towel per person for pool use during your stay, and it was your responsibility to take it to your bedroom to dry it overnight and bring it back to your sun lounger the next day.

WiFi available in lobby only and €5 for an hour. Not a particularly fast internet connection.

I would have expected more from a four star hotel.

That is a basic 4 star hotel. The rooms small, but clean and well maintaned. As a tour manager of a group, I had many contacts with the staff, and they always were very helpfull.
Both at breakfast and dinner the food was very good. The breakfast was buffet, and dinner served with choices for the group.
There are over 100 chanels buth only Italian. The 4 pools are with thermal water (34 Celsius), and elderly guests were affraid to swim. They are clean and in a nice park.
At the evening entertainment in the hotel bar.
The center and very nice pedestrian area just over the corner.
Close for daytrips to Venice, Padua and The Garda lake area.
My main problem was the price of the internet.
I will recomend my company to return to that hotel with other groups.
