I really consider it a privilege to have stayed at this resort.
From the moment I checked in, the attention was beyond expectation.
Friendly staff, knowledgeable and ready to meet all your needs and more.
The room was large and had everything you might need during your stay, spacious bathroom, balcony, Wi-Fi included.
The view from my room, overlooking the gardens and pools and in the background the beautiful panorama of the Eugenean Hills.
I stayed on a full board plan, but food was so generous that I skipped lunch.
Fine dining atmosphere, personal attention by the restaurant staff.
Elegance and exquisite food.
Breakfast is served in a sunbathed restaurant on the first floor, with a very rich variety.
The spa treatment, La belle époque theme, was a wholesome and extravagant experience!
The pools and there Jacuzzis, with various temperatures of pure thermal waters, recently updated with new jets, were a delight.
Surrounded by beautiful fragrant gardens, and again: amazing staff!
I can't wait to go back and let myself be pampered again!
The little town of Abano Terme is a little gem, surrounded by the gorgeous Eugenean hills that are worth a trip into their wine country.
Verona is an hour trip away and so is Venice.

We stayed there for 5 days during a "Belle Epoque" theme week. The hotel is magnificent, the rooms excellent and the staff really friendly. I particularly liked the fact that you find in your room a little form that you can fill and leave on the door (just as you would hang a "do not disturb" sign) to let the staff know of anything that might not work properly or would need improvement.
We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and didn't regret it. Food here is high quality and delicious. The hotel also provides entertainment for you at no extra cost, like a pianist during dinner, musicians at night if you feel to sit down and enjoy a prosecco or to dance a little bit.
Despite the heatwave, we borrowed hotel bicycles to visit nearby towns. The area is lovely. We then cooled down in the marvelous pools.
This was a very relaxing time, a true vacation from all the craziness of our daily lives.

The hotel is located in Abano Terme, a spa area close to Venice, known since Roman Time.
The hotel is quite old fashioned, but we did really loved staying in there. Spacious rooms and bathrooms.
Spa is simply superb!
Restaurant is top, à la carte. Delicious selection of wines. Service is excellent and overall we grade it as one of the best hotel we ever visited.

This hotel is a gorgeous grand style hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Abano Terme. You can take a taxi ( about 30 Euro or there are very frequent buses from outside the station - 2 Euro, then its a very short walk ).

I had a very large comfortable room in the old section. There are 3 outdoor and one indoor pools and a really great steam room with an ice bath and rain shower. It never felt crowded in the hotel even though it was full.

The food here is what you would get in a top restaurant - mostly it's al a carte with the option of cheese and dessert trolleys, my favourite meal was courgette flowers with risotto followed by calves liver with polenta.

There's also lots of very comfortable lounge areas for guests to relax among very elegant furnishings.

Service here is excellent, very helpful but not in an fussy way. On a cloudy day I took a hotel bike and was given a map and directions of interesting places to cycle to.

I really recommend this hotel, it's wonderfully relaxing and elegant.

I have had the pleasure of staying one night at this old an beautiful hotel. The hotel is old judging from interior from 1960 or so. However everything is maintained to perfection hence if you like old fashion interior this is an absolute must see.

The rooms are as mentioned by others here very spacious - you see that this truly is a 5 star hotel. Sat Tv is acceptable and Wi-fi works better than average for Italy.

I didn't have the time to go for a swim nor use the wellness but almost all other guest frequented this with great enthusiasm.

The hotel's breakfast was by far the most comprehensive offering I have seen on any Italian hotel. Plenty of stuff from a continental breakfast plus all the goodies that Italy can offer i.e. fresh orange juice that you press yourself or plenty of fresh fruits nicely sliced and prepared easy to enjoy.

My only complaint is exactly as other have mention to find the hotel with car is difficult as there is little help from the street signs (Competing hotels has plenty of sings). My rental car had navi and it had the Hotel as point of interest but even with this is could not guide me to the parking of the hotel but to the end of a pedestrian zone with limited parking and +200 meters to the entrance (not good enough!)

Never the less I have no problem recommending the hotel. I.e. if you are considering to visit Venice I could imagine that this would be a superb alternative to the expensive hotels in Venice and then you get perfect wellness and pool surrounding to enjoy after a long day on the gondols of Venice.
