“Nice stay”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

My family and I went here last February 2013 for an overnight stay. Accessible and easy to find with ample secured parking space. The overall look of the resort is good and is quite new. Dinner was a bit pricey but good, but the breakfast buffet left much to be desired. The waiter who served us (couldn't remember the name, but he's in one of our pictures) was very accommodating and patient.

Liquor is a bit expensive too and there are corkage fees should you bring any.

The rooms, well, it was great. Good airconditioning (the colder, the better for me.) with comfortable beds and bath area that came with standard kits and towels.

The beach is not really conducive for swimming, and the beach huts for rent is just seem too expensive for what we are getting.

The pool is another thing. Very wide with different sections for kids and adults. There are three slides, two of them were working when we were there, just adds to the fun.

Overall, it was a good experience. It would be better if the rates and prices be a bit lower as I feel that we should have gotten more with what we paid for.

Room is big for a superior type; bed is comfortable; TV set is not flat screen; bathroom is big (divided into shower and toilet); free toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream, shave, coffee, milo; there is hair dryer, bathrobes, towels.

The themed pool is very nice but there is no heater so it is very colde when swimming at night. There are slides.

Food at the restaurant is great! Very delicious.

the beach is not yet developed so we did not bathe there.

there are sports areas like basketball, volleyball, badminton.

No elevators, you need to use the stairs to go up.

The lobby is very spacious.

We had tried their Presidential suite which is very huge and everything you need is there. Also their Junior suite is also very spacious. Their safari pool is very nice just don't try the beach as it is not that perfect for swimming!

Room Tip: Get a room facing the beach front

The rooms are tired and not cleaned well. I wore my flip flops the whole time in the room in fear of catching something....lol! Bed was comfy but towels and linen were very worn and stained. I was charged 150 pp for a tiny, worn bath towel to use by the pool. There is nothing extra in the room at all. No tissues, writing paper or water bottles. Just really miserable. There are no balconies, only in the presidential suite.
The staff are friendly and as helpful as they can be considering their obvious budget constraints.
This hotel is not near to anything else. There are no taxis available from here. There is only tricycle or hotel car transport. The hotel car transport is quite expensive. The beach is grey sand and soup like water.

We were booked here for a retreat. The hotel was quick to find and reach with the new Cavitetext Hiway! We arrived on group check in. They have a multi-level lobby which was not airconditioned and arriving at noontime was truly humid. The first major setback was the absence of an elevator. We brought our baby with a stroller and everytime we move, we had to ask people's help to lift the stroller up and down our floor. The room was spacious enough for a family of four. BUT we found a dead spider on the newly replaced beddings! We requested for change od beddings which the staff quickly did. I found their towels looked old considering the hotel just opened barely a year ago. We also found out the windows on our room was not seculrely locked so someone can actually go in from outside. On the plus side, we enjoyed their meals. They have wide offering of amenities: pool, sports venue, iei., basketball court (but outsiders from the neighborhood can freely use the court). There was also use of the beach and its cottages. We personally liked the gigantic animal sculptures which is a delight for the children. Their function halls need soundproofing. We can hear the speakers from the other session hall. Also the common toilet in the function halls was not cleaned as often and tissues, liquid soap were not replaced or ready for use. The staff though was very respectful and friendly.

A very nice hotel. Nice seaview room. Robes, towels and slippers. TV and nice aircon. We could watch the sun go down to the left. Pool cleaned everyday and a bit cold however it is hot out !! Great service. We could look at the available rooms before we booked. Restaurant is great and the food more than worth the money. Be careful on the slides as they can take you by surprise. One let down was the trash that washed up on the beach however near to Manila so expected. My two sons loved it, they lived and were treated like kings. If you are wondering about going, I can say I am very hard to please and can complain about the smallest things :) We stayed a week then went back and booked a suite for another week. We think the seaview room was better though. Not going to say the floor or where though ;)

When I saw this Resort at website I was already amazed, I decided to make a reservation since the Room rates is not overpriced, considering also it is nearby the city…I am not too excited, because I only saw it at the website and i already FIND OUT base on my own experience, some of the resort, only appears nice in the picture or in the website but if you see it in actual its entirely a DISASTER! When I saw this place unquestionably I was impressed. This resort is highly recommended. I only sign an artless form, - SOP for check-in. The Room is Big with complete set-up of Amenities, very comfortable and relaxing, the view is nice perfect for Family Bonding, the Food in Sagobe café is truly a Filipino flavor, Taste is wow, very Delicious in reasonable price, the ambiance is very good. Staff are very Helpful and trained. Swimming Pool is great and clean. This resort is very safe because, security is alert….

Room Tip: Room is very clean, w/ queen sized bed..choose the 2nd Floor
