I went there with my work mates for summer outing. The hotel and the scene looks great (we got a lot of great pictures). We brought our own cooking grill so our lunch was perfect. We took the swimming + beach pass (we figured that we might as well splurge a little so we can have more options.)

The hotel itself looks great. The staffs are very friendly and well trained. Too bad we only went for a day tour. I'm definitely back with my friends next time.

We have heard that a new resort was open recently in Tanza, Cavite. Together with some friends and their respective families, we have decided to spend our summer outing in this gargantic resort. We assembled at the Coastal Mall on Saturday afternoon since most of us are coming from different places. It was past 2:00pm when our convoy finally started the journey. We took the Coastal Road and the newly opened Cavitex which bypasses the town of Bacoor and Binakayan. While in the toll way, we all enjoyed the beautiful coastal scenery and felt that we are in another country. It took only about 5 minutes to Kawit (though the toll fee is a bit expensive at Php 58,00). The group was surprised that it is not even 3:00pm when we arrived the resort. This is probably the nearest resort from Pasay City. Wow! The hotel lobby was elegant and the receptionists are courteous. It took us a while to check in the 16 rooms, but the kids are already running around enjoying the luxurious place. By the time we got to the rooms, everybody was more excited about the interior of the rooms that they wanted to spend more time in the rooms watching TV since it was still scorching hot outside. By 4:30pm, the kids could no longer wait to enjoy dipping in the nice pool, while we ordered snacks by the pool side. We have our dinner at 7:30pm at their main restaurant and was awed by the elegantly designed restaurant which we normally could see only in a five stars hotel. The food is good and the price reasonable. After our breakfast on Sunday, we took more pictures and agreed that we are returning back on the Christmas season, as this is one of the trips that we didn't spent too much time in the road, but quality time together in the resort.

My wife went over the net as she wanted to treat us. We went to Oasis Resort. What a nightmare :-(
Restaurant is dirty, service non-existant. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks, 35 minutes to get dishes that are anything but what we ordered. When we wanted to pay (with our credit card) we had to go back to the reception as they don't have a terminal in the restaurant.
The men comfort room was disgusting; soiled paper all over, seats dirty, toilets not flushed and dirty. Clouds of flies...
Now the swimming-pool : we had to go out to pay the entrance. The crew told us to get a "cottage" (more or less 20 dollars) to let our things safe.... What they don't tell you is that these cottages are on the beach, far away from the swimming-pool, middle of tens of others ! so imagine the safety of our things... When we went out to go somewhere else (without even entering the swimming pool) they refused to reimburse us.
We planned to stay in a premier room overnight, but seeing how the staff is behaving, no way.

THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF !!!

I have been to this Hotel twice with different set of friends and they never fail to impress.

The rooms are very spacious compared to other hotels. The restaurant offers typical filipino dishes and the prices are very affordable. And the staff are very friendly, no hints of intimidation (unlike other popular hotels), parang tropa lang! Even the managers ay napaka-approachable.

The best thing I like about this hotel is that the ambiance secludes you from the toxicity of the city environment yet it is not so far from manila. 40 minutes away MOA! para ka lang natraffic sa edsa. Sakto for a quick weekend detox.

It so strange that the previous review was so unpleasant. Siguro lang they got caught in a very extreme situation. But as far as my experiences were concern super like ko talaga.

I went there with a group of friends just last weekend. When we got to the reception, my friend's name did not appear in their reservation list. We had to spend about 20 minutes at the lobby before they gave us a room.

After swimming, my friends and I decided to eat lunch at Tanza's Oasis restaurant. We spent about 30 minutes waiting for a table. When we finally got one, we complained about the smell of their wooden? tables. They smelled like dirty wet rags and it was really awful. I lost my appetite after that. A waiter came with a spray that smelled strong and wiped the tables with it. The floor was very dirty with food particles and other things and they didn't bother to clean it (I have pictures of it). We waited another 30 minutes for the utensils and plates to be placed, and another 30 minutes for the food. We ordered about 10 dishes and they did not come with serving spoons! We had to ask for water to be served, and they served us lukewarm water while the other customers had iced water. When the kare-kare came, there was no bagoong. We asked about it and the (unfriendly) waitress said that the bagoong was already mixed with the kare-kare. But when we tried the dish, it did not taste like anything at all, so we asked for bagoong and they served us this really pale whatever that did not taste like bagoong. When we finished eating, we asked for the bill and it came lightning fast, but we had to wait for another 30 minutes for the change and some of us couldn't stand it anymore that we left the boys to wait for the change. When the change came, they did not give us the receipt anymore. Bakit kaya?

Anyway, I thought the ordeal was over. When it was time to check out, they asked for 200 pesos more from my friend when they had earlier agreed with the rates. My friend got really upset. She asked why she had to pay for the overnight rate when we only stayed there half a day and also asked why the rate kept changing. Seeing that my friend was already very angry, they allowed us to check out.

This vacation was only fun because I was with friends. We'll never go back to Tanza's Oasis. I heard that the resort is under a new management? Too bad. The staff don't seem to be experienced and organized. My friend told me she had a better experience when she went there years ago.

What I liked about it: the hotel room is complete and clean. The thing is, most hotel rooms are like that.

All in all, don't go here. You'll get a lot of stress instead of relaxation.
