I heard of this place long time ago ,and only recently get the chance to visit it.
My friend is 60 this year and I decided to take here there .
What’s the better way of celebrating than to take a friend away from busy Sydney ,to inland to enjoy the World in mini editions .
Meaning the garden is about mini architecture buildings around the world .
I will recommend this place to visit to everyone whoever find the interest in such things .The buildings are done with such precision and accuracy, they are really beautiful art.
And the plants the flowers around definitely feel the place with warmth and welcoming .There is very nice coffee shop inside out which is very cosy as well souvenir shop .
Go for it!
Enjoy!

Also called Gold Creek Village it's a reconstruction from an old Australian mining village where you can enjoy from activities (Dinosaur Museum, Walk-in Aviary, Aboriginal Art, Cockington Gardens - miniature of buildings and people, Reptile Display), from good restaurants and cafés, from a good sleep at local hotel or even get married at Gold Creek Chapel. Deserves a visit!

Delicious food and wonderful service. Perfect dinner for a cold Canberra evening with beautiful fire place and all good made on site. The dessert was my favourite!
