I was just spent 4 nights here for a business conference and found the resort to be very nice. It was off season, so most of the pools were closed and I didn't see anyone else down at the beach when I visited there, but it was very nice. I got a 1 bedroom suite and it was huge! Much bigger than anything I've ever gotten in Europe with a stove and fridge if you were going to eat in as well as a dining area and living room with two balconies. I noticed there are playgrounds here for the kids as well.
The hotel provided shuttles to old town Dubrovnik and that was a wonderful place to visit. I walked the walls and generally walked around town checking out the sites. Definitely worth it. See if you can find the "hold in the wall" bar named Buza. I think there are two of them, but only one was open out of season. Basically, you can walk through this little archway in the wall on the seaward side and come out to a little area where you can get beers drinks and just sit and enjoy the view and sun. Would definitely come back with the familyMore
