My group and I had a perfect time with Aloha Kayaks! Both the cave kayaking and manta ray snorkeling was a great time. We felt very safe with Nick and Jaren- they never pushed us to do anything we were uncomfortable with. They were very knowledgable about the island and had a lot to share. They were great personalities and a great time. I would highly suggest their tours to everybody- all ages and all experience levels.

“Tour to Captain Cook monument and Keakula Bay trip”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

Overall this was a great tour to Captain Cooks memorial and Keakula bay. Our guide, Rabbit, was very informative and told us dozens of anecdotes and facts about the area and Hawaiian history. He was also very kind and ensured that we were safe at all times. I highly recommend!

“Wonderful Experience!”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

We did the snorkeling off Captain Cook Bay and the night snorkeling with the Manta Rays and had the most amazing time! Our guides gave us a great experience! It was especially interesting to learn the history of Kaelakekua Bay while we were kayaking to Captain Cooks monument. The night snorkeling with the Manta Rays is a one in a lifetime opportunity and I would recommend anyone to go there and experience it. The Manta Rays literally come within inches of you as you are snorkeling in the water with them! It was amazing!!

“Kaelakekua Bay Kayak”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

There's not much more to say than said by all of the other positive reviews. It shows how much effort and care these guys put into their tours. Our tour of Kaelakekua and the Cook Memorial, with a massive pod of spinner dolphins circling around, was one of the highlights and most memorable events of our trip.

“Great Experience”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

We recently went on a kayak/cliff jumping excursion with Nick. Although I was not interested in the cliff jumping portion of this trip, my 2 older children, 11 and 12 were really excited about it. We met for the trip at Aloha Kayaks where we were fitted with snorkel gear and introduced to our guides. We then followed them to Keauhou Bay and set off on the journey. Nick was very friendly and informative. He was patient with us as we navigated the kayaks through the ocean waters. He also gave us lots of Hawaiian history that we enjoyed, including some old legends that really got the kids thinking. When we got to the cliffs where you could jump, Nick helped the 2 kids climb up the cliff and my stepdaughter was a little hesitant so he talked her through it so that she felt more comfortable to jump. My husband felt that he had to jump too since 2 of his children were jumping. The youngest child and I watched from our kayak and got out in the water and splashed around. After the cliff diving we kayaked a little further down the coast and then turned around to head back to the bay. We ended up kayaking about 2-2.5 miles on the ocean so if you're not in good shape, this might not be the excursion for you. Aloha kayaks is a small company, but great customer service. I would definitely recommend them and would kayak with them again!
