Description: Beautiful lakeside restaurant with bilingual staff (English & French). We produce fresh, homemade and original food in a relaxed and informal setting. All of our clients agree that we are worth the drive off the beaten track for lunch or an evening meal to remember! Close to Mont St Michel and the American cemetery at St James.

An english run restaurant, with a blend of english/ french cuisine. Good to see a mixture of english and french customers. Great food at a reasonable price.

We stopped here for lunch and had an absolutely delicious meal outside under the veranda. We were really looked after too and would definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely meal at the Auberge du Lac. They made a great job of squeezing us in at short notice (I assume that it was the owner Amanda who managed that for us). The tapas starter was delicious for sharing and all of us enjoyed our main courses too; the cider liquor that my moules were cooked in was scrumptious. This was a great way to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our sons! Thanks.

We had a weary traveller amongst us craving plain oil' fish and chips and we actually found better than that here! Reasonably priced, delicious food, and very good dishes well prepared, fed a hungry party. The restaurant has a patio/picnic area, interior airy dining areas too, all very nice, open, airy, clean and pretty! Good wines, ciders and drink selection, varied desserts. Chilled water appreciated. A good place to practice French and English.

Great little place with attentive staff and great choice of food. Believe it or not three of our party settled for fish and chips. These were excellent as was the fourth fish dish. Good wines too, with thoughtful choices.
