We stayed at this wonderful family home for two nights while our husbands went to Addo.
Molly and Conner could not be more attentive and helpful.
The accommodation is lovely ,in keeping with the age of the house.
Molly's cooking is amazing ,breakfast and dinner were lovely and beautifully presented.
We were fortunate to have the gardens and the swimming pools to ourselves and really enjoyed the rest and ambience of it all.
Marley made us welcome as well .he is quite a character.
I would recommend this B and B to anyone.

Room Tip: There are two suites and two other rooms a double and a single that share a bathroom. There is a sw...

The guest house gave us an excellent base for exploring ADDO National Park. Owners Molly and Conner arranged game drives. These were both excellent in experience and information given to us. By being driven we were free to look and see, and look and see at what we had not seen. A very rich experience in all.
Accommodation, meals, and general hospitality are all of the first order.

A wonderful stay with wonderful hosts. Regrettably we planned only one night here and really should have spent longer. Great place to chill out and relax. Rooms done out really tastefully and spacious but not lacking homeliness. As the name suggests, Colonial style throughout and like stepping back in time. Keenly priced and excellent value for money.

Breakfast at the Colonial is hearty and well presented. The Local restaurant (lenmore) about 10 minutes away serves the greatest and biggest TBone steak if you are so minded. Molly our host was good enough to book for us when we were on our way to Addo.

A place we will return to and would recommend it to anyone travelling in South Africa.

Well managed booking with Molly giving us prompt info. plus an idea of the idyllic atmosphere awaiting us . After Cape Town and Knysna we felt we had reached the real Africa here. Conor was great fun and full of knowledge about the wildlife and history of Addo and surrounds. The symphony of crickets , frogs and nightjars was wonderful to hear while reading the African folk tale placed on the bed each evening. A special place indeed .

We learned from Molly and Conor just by the recommendation of friends and so we had a few expectations. But these were really topped because they gave as a feeling like coming home to old friends. The accomodation, the food (breakfast, dinner and the wine as well), the chats and of course the "safari" with Conor in Addo National Park: simply fantastic. If we ever came back on a trip to South Africa the Colonial on Arundel will be a must to see again.

We stayed with Molly and Conor two years ago and couldn't wait to go back again. This year's visit was even better. Fantastic hospitality, just like being part of the family. Excellent accommodation and superb food, both breakfasts and dinners. They both have a wealth of experience and knowledge and are only too happy to pass it on. Don't miss out on a game drive to Addo Elephant Park with Conor. His knowledge is extensive, not only of the wildlife but the history of the park and the region. We were sad that labrador Zack was no longer there but new pup Marley more than made up for it!
We have to say it again - can't wait for the next time!
