The area between Grand Hyatt Beach until Shatti Area is the nicest. Try to avoid traffic in the beach road known as love road on weekend as it gets extremely slow. The tides can get very close to palm trees so watch out if you want to camp overnight. Football is not desired but unfortunately u will find many groups playing around 5 pm

Good selection of cafes nearby so spoiled for choice in terms of food, stunning beach and views. Beach was fairly clean, very busy at the time we went. Toilets were available in a nearby plaza.

We actually stayed there (in Al Qurum Resort Hotel) the beach is fantastic but unfortunately it becomes very crowded with locals and foreign labour workers. This fact makes it almost impossible to swim with any 'uncovered female'.... In a week's stay we managed to swim only once there and felt very uncomfortable! On the other hand you can enjoy walking barefoot on the sand especially when the tide is low.

We passed a lovely afternoon here. Lovely spot. D'Arcy's Kitchen is really lovely and a good spot to stop for lunch.

What a glorious spot to reinvigorate and refresh in the warm gulf water! Il Costa felt like an outdoor café in the French Riviera - superb ice cream treats, beautifully presented in lovely ceramic dishes. Very comfortable patio with sturdy lounge chairs under large umbrellas. Wonderful attentive servers!
