Easy to see from the highway but a satnav was helpful in locating the way from Sultan Qaboos Street. Clean room, sheets. comfortable bed. Perfect location for the attractions of Muscat. Staff were friendly and helpful. I Would stay here again having heeded warnings about asking for a room away from the highway.

Room Tip: Heed earlier suggestions regarding a room away from the highway.

I stayed 2 nights, last month while travelling for Business.
The hotel is located in Khuwair Area, directly on the high way. It is close to all ministries and around 15 to 20 mn drive to downtown Muscat.
Positive points:
*big rooms
* good wifi
Negatives points:
* smelly Bathroom
* my room wasn't serviced during my stay. i did requested them to make the rooms but without success!
* check out took almost 30 mn, i was the only guest checking out at that time!

Room Tips: ask for back side room, because the highway side is too noisy.

I stayed here for 7 days on a business trip but did not get a choice as to accommodation because this is where the organisers had their conference. Not a bad hotel, sort of business 4*, and they upgraded me on arrival to the 6th floor which has some privileges, but I down rated it for some issues.

Positives included iron and ironing board so could press clotes after a long flight, despite the iron being not steam and not very good. Tea and coffee in the room with a small kettle, and there was a medium size supermarket next door where I could get water (the hotel only gives you 2 small bottles a day) and eg snack food. There is a department store above the supermarket and I got a new pair of Reeboks for not too bad a price. Staff were good and friendly, spoke excellent English, seemed to be mostly from the subcontinent as per normal Oman processes.

Excellent breakfast included with the room rate included smoked salmon and lots of fresh fruit plus the usual hot items and eggs to order. Coffee was less than ordinary however, and rated it as just coloured water; and miniscule glasses for the fruit juice was solved by using a coffee mug to get the OJ.

Negatives included unreliable hot water pressure in the morning, the shower ran hot and cold unexpectedly, In this day and age hotels can easily sort their hot water pressures out using pump pressure control.

Killer bed legs with brakes; the little lever sticks out and if you run your toe onto it it cut through the nail.

Sliding cupboard doors that can trap your fingers.

Even though not very old some of the room furniture is looking shabby, eg chips on the side of the coffee tables and general scruffy look to the carpets; or maybe that’s due to just the dowdy dusty yellow colour they choose.

Superthick doona (duvet) which in this climate is a curiosity. However, I stripped that off and just slept with the bed sheets and the air con on 24C. Otherwise you’ll have the a/c on 20 and have a freezing trip to the loo in the morning.

However, not bad and the price was OK with a discount and room upgrade. Recommended but look around, there may be better.

Room Tip: If you et an upgrade you don't get a choice - some road noise but not bad enough to worry too much

The facade is a bit grim, but the lobby is welcoming like everywhere. Rooms are standard-standard, nothing special. The Lebanese restaurant is OK, but we have had better Lebanese food. Unfortunately the coffeeshop does not serve any food outside at the other side of the hotel at the entrance of a Hypermarket, a good place to see the evening habits of mainly Indian inhabitants. The pool is smallish, the other facilities hardly used, at least not on a Saturday. The bar is really dull in spite of the good attentions of the Philippine waitresses.

Hotel is still new with a nice location. Close to Muscat Grand Mall (walking distance). Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is acceptable. Internet is very slow. There's a supermarket in the same complex. Although the architecture is a bit odd, the interior decoration is warm.

Room Tip: Room with a King size bed overlooking the supermarket. There's lots of noise to the main entrance side especially at early morning hours.
