This campsite was small and neat. It was also very busy and we were lucky to get in as we hadn't booked and it was August 2012. There were a lot of French holiday makers there and there was also a kids club for teenagers who looked like they were having a lot of fun. The campsite is outside a small town set amongst vineyards. It was a very beautiful setting. They have a small pool and a restaurant and bar. The plots were spacious and individual. We managed to find one that was quite shady under big trees.

They did not have a lot of choice in the shop (which was just the reception area) so we drove out to Coutras (only about 20 minutes) to a hypermarket. There were some smaller supermarkets in the town. The only bad point was that it was expensive. It was over 30 euros for one night with a small car and a small tent and only 2 people - ouch! Nevertheless, I would recommend it for a stayover but get there early or book if it is high season.

We were quite dispointed about this camping. It is a small camping located in between wineyards. Any of the common services are very basic (bathrooms, laundry,.....). Position for tents are not much large, ground with stones and most of posotions are along the way of cars (noisy adn dust).. Employees does not make a difference.

We received a special offer from flower camping for this campsite. It seemed a genuine bargain - not so. Our mobile was situated amongst mobiles on hire for the low season by the proprietor to
workers. In consequence we were subjected to very early noisy mornings, and the evenings, when these workers returned for their well earned rest. Their hours were very varied, some working during the night and returning very early, others normal times. I do not for one moment begrudge them their relaxation, however noisy after their their travail, but we should not have been situated in this position without being informed of the reason for the deduction.
No reduction is worth traveling a long way to be in this position.

We did find the staff at the site to be extremely helpful, and it was from them we found the reason for all the coming and going of vans. and the resultant noise. Unfortunately they were very overworked and understaffed.

If I had not been unwell after our lengthy journey, we would not have stayed. Admittedly the noise got worse as the week progressed, as the workers time of let was coming to an end with the finish of the low season, and they were celebrating moving on.
