The food was excellent, my girlfriend had a chicken stir fry which was packed with flavor while I had the special of the day the hake which was so fresh. Would highly recommend .

We ate here three times during our recent holiday in Ireland. This a typical pub/eatery that gets very busy during the day. The food is excellent, perhaps the quantities are a bit too large. The signature sea food chowder is amazing a whole meal in itself. There is a large menu and good variety of local seafood. The service can suffer when very busy and the meals are not inexpensive. However the fact that we ate there times in a week and would eat there again speaks for itself.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to loop head .We had the crab claws and were amazed at the small size of the claws and indeed the overall portion size way to small for the price charged

Wine by the glass at 6.45 a go was to say the least extortionate

On the plus side service was friendly and efficient and the brown bread was great

when I asked the waiter what he recommended he stated that the mackerel had arrived off the local fisherman's boat 30 minutes ago...it was amazing. the restaurant has a great classic Irish Pub decor but updated and clean and stylish.

Not great value for money ,though portion sizes are poor for cod & chips and not cheap either.Steak burger was so so.take care when ordering for children off kids menu as fish and chips ended up costing €16.95, after much debate with staff member and getting no where, manager eventually refunded the difference.portion size was child's portion ,and if I had been charged €16.95 I would not have been best pleased. Over all avg service and value.
