We went not really sure what to expect, but it was a great afternoon out. The tour was very interesting and there was plenty to see in and out of the mine. There is a shed dedicated to kids games and there was also panning for gold (not real gold of course - the place hasn't been mined since the 1930s).the cafe was good for cake and coffee and the shop with appropriate souvenirs. Lastly the staff were great, very knowledgeable, especially sandra, who has 17 years experience working at the site, and gave us a very informative and fun tour.
