“You will never want to leave!”

Wow, what to say? Our family of 5 - couple, two 18 year olds and a 14 year old just returned from 10 fantastic nights at Tranquility. I will detail the villa first and move to the staff after. VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS!! I don't know what else to say. My husband and I could have spent the entire time sitting on any of the multiple balconies looking at the sea and done nothing else and be fully satisfied. Every day it was breezy and sunny. All of us hate being hot in the tropics and had some concerns about no a/c for sleeping. Not needed at all. The wind continues day and night and we all were very comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the massive, top floor master bedroom and absolutely loved it. The balcony is enormous and the views are sweeping, gasp-inducing, awesome...well, you get the idea. The pool, while not huge, is large enough unless you plan on doing laps. It was nicely warmed by the sun and also has spectacular views. We loved the 8-10 small airplanes that flew almost directly overhead (they quit early in the evening and are not disruptive in the least) to land at the Bequia airport a short distance away. The solar heated water was plenty hot, and while the water pressure was lacking, it wasn't a problem for us. The main living area has a wonderful, shaded porch and the seating in the living room is very comfortable and there's plenty of it. The beds were comfortable and the mosquito netting did the trick. We mostly were "out" by 10 since the sun woke us up (around 6). The sun waking you is your choice since there are window coverings to block the early morning sun. We loved seeing the sunrise and hearing the birds. There are tiny lizards that run all over as well as the occasional bird that flies through the house. If you aren't capable, or comfortable with, climbing many, many stone steps throughout your day/stay, seek another villa. I'm not in great shape, but managed fine and, of course, all the various levels are what give all the rooms stunning views. WiFi was good and we watched TV about a total of 2 hours and the Satellite TV was good too. We played lots of games and cards. There are tons of books in the home so any visitor will have plenty to choose from if they want to read something from the eclectic collection. Staff - Doro is a wonder! Meals at the villa were another highlight of our trip. It seemed strange at first having a cook/server, but after a few days we adjusted and then it wasn't weird. She really should be called a chef as delicious as those meals were that she made for us. She picked up the "catch of the day" in the village, so we had lots of fresh seafood. Some of the menu items were: curried...
