We stayed at Notre Reve as a family of 5, two adults, three children - age 6 to 11. The apartment was perfect for us, beautifully appointed with lovely personal touches making it stand apart from other soulless apartments, excellently equipped for self catering making eating in a hassle free experience. The layout is perfect for a family with children due to the split floor arrangement giving privacy and ability for adults to relax after putting the children to bed. TV/DVD both upstairs and downstairs was a huge bonus. We used the sofa bed in the main living area, so easy to pop out, extremely comfey and a treat to have down duvets and pillows as opposed to basic hotel bedding was a treat much appreciated.
Two bathrooms really make the apartment, and two baths!!! Sweet touches with gorgeous bath products provided. Plenty of space to hang and dry ski gear, with much thought given to making all use of space.
The apartment is very private with the added bonus if two balcony areas, one giving an amazing view of the valley below.
The village of Montchavin is charming, providing an excellent mix of bars and restaurants catering for all. There is a wonderfully subtle Savoyard feel to the whole resort, excellent shopping and recreational facilities too.
We’d return again, without hesitation. Zoe and Andrew have created a perfect home from home working a resort and ski area that leaves you wanting for nothing. We didn’t even scratch the surface of the entire Paradiski range in our week. Cross section of runs provided the perfect opportunity for our children to experience the Alps first time and the experienced adults to challenge themselves. To have the bonus of being able to ski back to the apartment was tremendous. Ski hire and ski school was a two minute walk away, making the dreaded first morning seemless. A fabulous week was had by all and we could have wanted for nothing more.
Wow where to start..... this luxury 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment nestled in the beautiful village of montchavin was an absolute gem of a find. Although it advertises as 32m2 this does not account for the upstairs bedrooms (2) and bathroom. Downstairs sees a fully equipped kitchen, separate WC and bathroom, an ample space dining area and large living area. There is a sofa bed in the living area to allow for this amazing space to sleep 6. Home from home luxury-molten brown toiletries, beautiful quilts, pillows and bath sheets. A tv in the living room and in both bedrooms with DVD players to help you relax after a full day on the slopes. A welcome pack greeted us on arrival and the end of stay clean was arranged by the owner at no extra charge to us. In the apartment building there is a communal lounge with attached sauna and gym offering CV equipment. The roaring log fire keeps you toastie warm after skiing the wonderful Paradiski and beautiful ILLY coffee served from the bar is delicious. Ski locker for safe keeping of equipment. 5 minute walk to gondola to take you up to La Plagne. Due to the huge amount of snow we were able to ski in to the back of the apartment building- always a bonus. We will return. Thank you Zoe for your attention to detail that allowed us to have a fabulous week
We had a fantastic time at the Notra rive apartment. The apartment was nicely laid out and very comfortable it was also quite a private place with some fantastic views looking over the mountains. The village is very nice and has plenty of restaurants, local amenities and shops. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back again.
Loved the apartment, felt like a 'nest in the sky'. Felt really relaxed and comfortable staying in a place that has style and yet all practicalities have been thought out carefully.
The area is so beautiful and the views change with the sunlight, the wind and the clouds.
Would highly recommend Notre Reve Apartment for a holiday that offers it all - be chilled, be active, eat well and mix with the very friendly locals, in a perfect pad!
Had a fabulous few days here at the end of June!
Such a great location for exploring the Alps, extreme sport, relaxed exercise or just chilling.
The apartment has everything you could need, is beautifully decorated and furnished.
Excellent location on the edge of a lovely mountain side village. Not so high that it's an epic journey to get to and from everything else, but high enough to get fantastic views (including Mont Blanc!)
Wonderfully close to the ski lift of one of the best french ski area's we've been to. Montchavin itself is the most beautiful little classic French mountain village equipped with all you need from La Poste to high class swimming facilities. Restaurants and bars were great and even a little Sherpa Super Market if you don/t have transport to take you to Borge St Maurice.
La PLagne's skiing is diverse and extremely enjoyable for both the beginner to the expert with some great gully and high glacier skiing.
We're certainly looking forward to going back in 2018.
This is our first visit to the charming village of Montchavin.Perfectly placed to access Les Arcs or Le Plagne.Short walk for us (Spring snow had just retreated to Le Coches), less than 4mins to the bubble lift from the ski locker in the appartment block.Bonus to have dry, warm gear each day! We also drove to Tignes (50mins) easy drive & free parking at Val Claret with a day pass ( usually costs 15 euros). From here two lifts & you are ski ing in Val d'isere. Returning to Notre Reve each day with the options of hot baths (yes 2 bathrooms) was wonderful. The appartment has everything you need, two balconys, views to Mont Blanc, beds are super comfy, clean, cozy welcoming. The village has its own special charm too, French character, cobbled walkways, bakery, supermarket,a couple of gear shops( incase you have forgotten essential items),tobacconist & a tourist gift shop. The restaurants are of a high standard , food & drinks reasonably priced & everyone is so friendly.Takeaway pizza is available too. We stayed six days & hope to return to this hidden gem, a perfect base for adventures.... Montchavin rocks...❄️❄️❄️
