For more info have a look at the "unofficial" website www.latania.co.uk. Lots of special offers, news, blogs, what's on etc

La Tania is a great spot and in my biased opinion the best in the Three Valleys as you can easily access the whole area and on snowy days when Val Thorens may be white out and the upper lifts closed you can ski the tree runs down to La Tania.

Lots of great independent chalets.
As much or as little night life as you want(Pub le Ski Lodge, Telemark, Taiga bar)
Michelin star food, pizzas, gastro pub, fondue etc
North facing and cannons down to resort = snow sure

Come and see for yourselves! I didn't visit, I live here!

Skiing doesn't come much better than the 3 valleys area.
Miles and miles of great skiing. Loads of bars and other areas to explore with a great list of Green, Blue, Red and Blacks

We stayed in La Tania in late March and will definitely stay again. Cheaper accomodation and a more cosy feel than other resorts in the Three Valleys it was perfect for a young couple for a cheap ski holiday. The nightlife is there if you want it but also quiet enough if you dont want it. It is ski in ski out and links seamlessly to the rest of the Three Valleys. Have an expensive hot chocolate in Val Thorens and come back to the cheaper La Tania for dinner! The snow was melting quite rapidly at the end of our week but it was back a few days later according to other reviews here. It wasnt an issue as it is so easy to get to higher areas via the Gondola. The supermarket was good with friendly staff and not too overpriced. Pints were around 5 euros, meals out around 25 euros. Great runs into the resort with green blue and red all leading there. Will definitely stay again.

Links easily to the 3 valleys with no lift queues - what's not to like. Worth knowing still snow in resort for the piou piou wc 5 April because although it's only 1400 it's north facing and wooded. Great runs for the children to learn on too.

A lovely small resort with easy access to the three valleys. Small beginners' slope and kiddies' area although the better beginner slopes are in courcheval. Lovely blue and green run back into the village or you can take the cable car if you are too tired.
