“A wonderful little resort”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

We stayed in La Tania in late March and will definitely stay again. Cheaper accomodation and a more cosy feel than other resorts in the Three Valleys it was perfect for a young couple for a cheap ski holiday. The nightlife is there if you want it but also quiet enough if you dont want it. It is ski in ski out and links seamlessly to the rest of the Three Valleys. Have an expensive hot chocolate in Val Thorens and come back to the cheaper La Tania for dinner! The snow was melting quite rapidly at the end of our week but it was back a few days later according to other reviews here. It wasnt an issue as it is so easy to get to higher areas via the Gondola. The supermarket was good with friendly staff and not too overpriced. Pints were around 5 euros, meals out around 25 euros. Great runs into the resort with green blue and red all leading there. Will definitely stay again.

“What a find!”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

Links easily to the 3 valleys with no lift queues - what's not to like. Worth knowing still snow in resort for the piou piou wc 5 April because although it's only 1400 it's north facing and wooded. Great runs for the children to learn on too.

“Quiet village feel”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

A lovely small resort with easy access to the three valleys. Small beginners' slope and kiddies' area although the better beginner slopes are in courcheval. Lovely blue and green run back into the village or you can take the cable car if you are too tired.

“great lunch spot close to courcheval 1850”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

This part of the Three Valleys is short of good lunch spots which won't leave you feeling comprehensively fleeced - for instance the charmless waitress who said no, no carafe d'eau, just Evian at Eu6/litre. Le Bouc Blanc is easily accessible from the Coq chair out of Courcheval 1850. Staff are delightful (even at the end of the season) and both the inside dining room and the external terrace are lovely. Service is prompt without feeling rushed and the food was good - salads, Beaufort tart, good kids menu and delicious deserts. So good we came back two days running!
