“Crab sandwiches to die for!”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

A favourite lunchtime spot which never disappoints. The thai noodles are delicious and the crab sandwiches can be all white meat, brown meat or mixed.
It is a popular spot for locals, which can have a downside, namely, their (mostly)spoilt toddlers who are allowed to squawk and and catterwaul whilst mummy gossips with her friends. As the cafe is long and narrow, there is no escape
Prices are not cheap and the staff can be a bit on the curt side.
However the food is very good.

“No good for locals”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

Since the new management took over about four years ago, as usual the cafe still opens at Easter, and closes just after the schools go back after summer holidays which isn't much good for us locals, and winter visitors. Although the food is good, the prices are a little too expensive and the staff are a bit grumpy. The thai food is good although it is just as good at the Breakwater Cafe, St Catherines but much cheaper there. On a plus side, the scenery at Bonne Nuit is great especially when there is a hight tide. The 'beach cafe' could do with having some more beach goods as it used to have.
On a whole, great scenery but the cafe could do better, and provide a service for locals such as the other cafes do during the winter months.

“Lovely lunch”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

We stopped here for lunch on a lovely sunny day and enjoyed fresh crab sandwiches and a piece of cake. Sat outside overlooking the harbour and spent a happy hour or so watching the world go by. Would definitely return and definitely recommended.

“Great Thai food”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

We were walking the coastal path and came upon this cafe on its last day before it closed for the summer. Lucky for us!
The Thai food was absolutely fantastic, one of the best tasting dishes I've ever eaten... In a beach cafe - what a lovely surprise!
The menu has Thai food as well as more traditional beach cafe fayre, but if you like Thai food I would urge you to try it, as it was excellent.

“Best location and best Thai food on the island :)”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

This is the spot !! If you want to know what Jersey is about - its this beach, this setting and this lovely little gem of a cafe and Thai restaurant. You can really chillax to the clink of peoples BYO wine and hum of conversation. The Thai food is so authentic with the freshest of ingredients and every time I go there I just can't leave without a veggie green curry or pad thai - and as for the veggie spring rolls flippin hec they are the lightest of pastries ever :) ....now get me on to that coffee cake ! :)))) mmmmmm
