Very quiet village, no tourist attractions.
Ideal for winter sun, walking and chilling out.
Quite windy but to be expected.
Not a place to visit if you want lots to do!
Delightful, unspoilt part of Tenerife
We absolutely loved our getaway to the casita last month! The location was totally gorgeous with wonderful sea views and a lovely little town on the seafront just a few minutes walk away. The apartment itself is so lovely too: bright, very comfortable and spacious and having the BBQ was an added bonus! Having the swimming pool was ideal - we had it to ourselves for most of the week and it is very well-maintained. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be returning!
In a lovely little fishing town mostly locals, not touristy but that's what made it so charming! The flat overlooks the sea and is only a very short walk from the beach. If you want more touristy shops etc we had a hire car and drove 30mins to Los Christianos or Playa de las Americas. But truth be told we were relieved when we got back to the quiet of the flat. Loved the BBQ outside and ate out there most nights. There is two supermarkets in town which have everything you would need for the stay. The swimming pool was ideal. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks in January. The apartment is very well equipped with ample towels, bedding, kitchen ware, patio furniture, etc. We struggled with the hob in the kitchen as it is incredibly difficult to control but we ate out a lot. There is plenty of space for your clothes and other belongings and the double bed was comfortable. We used the outdoor space a lot as it was lovely to be able to look over at the pool and the sea. The pool was unheated but we did know this when we booked. I did swim 3 times and it was very clean. A couple of the pool loungers were broken, in fact most of the pool furniture had had its day. A couple of minor problems were quickly and pleasantly dealt with by the landlady. I would highly recommend this apartment. However, don't stay in Poris de Abona if you want lively nightlife as there is a very limited choice of restaurants. The best ione is on the front by the beach and is excellent. On the front here is also a kiosk which sells beer, wine and ice cream with chairs outside where the locals gather. The 2 supermarkets are well stocked and open late. The next village, Abades, 3 km away, has some good restaurants. A car is essential really to explore the area. We loved the quiet, pretty little place and found all the people who were out and about on an evening very friendly.
Lovely ground floor apartment with terrace. Outdoor BBQ. Very peaceful welcoming place with views of the ocean. Will return
