“Super accommodation in a fantastic location”
Reviewed August 15, 2010

We stayed in Badgers for the first 2 weeks in August 2010. The cottage is excellent with the added benefit of the pool (swam most days) and will only get even better as the owners go through their refurbishment programme (the new kitchen they have already added to woodpeckers is a very high standard). Location is ideal with easy access to the Lizard and wider west Cornwall, you can even get a bus to the Lizard itself or Helston from the end of the drive. Good food is easy to get; try the "Old Inn" in Mullion and the Regent in Lizard. Great walks from the front door or a short car journey, Plenty of places to visit and superb beaches to relax on; Kynance Cove mustn't be missed and Poldhu is great for surfing.

We had a wonderfull stay at this B&B. Nice room and a great breakfast (a lot of fresh fruit). Wendy is a very warm hostess.
The B&B has a nice pool and is great to discover this area.

We think this B&B should be listed under ,Luxury B&B - the bedclothes f.ex. are first quality! So is the breakfast - it´s made out of prouducts which grow/are made nearby and has fruit, cerals and extra ordinarily homemade bread! Firstclass is also the Hostess, Wendy - always there when you just as much as look as if you needed something and invisible when you want to be left alone. The house and sourounding is just wonderful - it´s totally quiet and peaceful. There´s a pool too! And it´s not far from Helston or Mullion or the beautiful beaches (Praa Sands etc.). Not the luxury-kategorie is the price though!
We loved it there, stayed much longer than planned and we will be back as soon as possible!

Myself, my wife and two young children (4yrs & 1+yrs) stayed with Wendy and Andrew At Nanplough for a short get-a-way back in May. I have been meaning to take the time to try and tell everyone how well we were looked after and how comfortable we were there. The Self Catering apartment we stayed in was spottlessly clean and very well appointed with everything we needed and more. The rooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The property had recently been taken over and there was a real sense of pride and dedication shown by the hosts that I am sure means that it will get better and better everytime we go back, which we definatley will. We were offered a grand tour around and the House and the B&B rooms are amazing. I cannot recomend this establishment more highly and as B&B owners ourselves, we know what hard work it is to make sure your guests are completely satisfied. Congratulations to Wendy in particular who seems to be truely committed to perfection.

Visited Nanplough over the Easter weekend. The place has recently come under new management and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. Very impressed with the B&B accommodation available, recently rennovated rooms are decorated to a high standard and the ensuite bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Full english breakfast was in a comfortable, traditional dinning room overlooking the Cornish countryside. Self catering cottages are also available and we were given a guided tour. These looked very spacious and clean. The swimming pool, although not open when we visited, looked good and had a great deck area. Would defintely go back.
