There are lots of positives for this hotel. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. I took my mum on a surprise birthday treat and was not disappointed when we drove up the lovely driveway. The reception area housed an original stone fireplace, with an impressive oak staircase.
The negatives only began when we arrived in our twin room. I'm thinking this room isn't used too much because some of the objects were very dusty. Sadly the curtains had definitely seen better days. They were ripped and tatty. The carpet was, quite shabby and very tired looking. The bathroom was dated with similar tatty curtains. This room is prime for an urgent upgrade to bring it up to standard.
Having said all this, the room has two lovely original windows which allows sunlight to pour in, with views over the pond and gardens. This hotel is ideally situated near Chester and very quiet and peaceful.

We needed an Hotel near Chester for a one night stopover when visiting an elderly relative. Normally we'd use a Travelodge, but the last one we used was nasty so....

We got a good deal and took advantage of a cheap dinner package on a Sunday night.

Overall this was exceptional value for money. The price was a bit more than a Travelodge if you take into account the inevitable "Little Chef" breakfast that staying at a travelodge entails, but the hotel is massively better value for money.

Nice location /views etc. Lovelly staff, nice public rooms, great service and Sunday night dinner was brilliant for the money. Our room was a bit tired and the bathroom could have done with a refurb, but it all worked and for the money it was great.

Stayed here with 2 small children. The place is lovely. Our room was nice and clean, the only drawback was the shower, but it did the trick. The best thing was the room was very quiet and there was a function on which was noisy but we couldnt hear it. Breakfast was very good.

Hope you have a sat/nav or GPS to get you there - it's way off the beaten track, but worth the drive. It's 10-15 minutes outside of Chester, out in the countryside. Lovely old building (large manor house) with top-notch grounds and gardens. The best part: the afternoon we arrived we hadn't had lunch. It was past their lunch serving time, but they offered to serve us afternoon tea (reasonably priced and outstanding food) out on the gorgeous terrace. It was quite magical, actually. The hotel was hosting a big wedding that evening, and that's the only down side to my story. The loud disco music went on and on and on, until about midnight, which floated into our windows. The hotel had kindly upgraded our room, yet I think the whole hotel needs refurbishing. The furniture and beds are tired. And our phone in the room didn't work when I would have liked to call somebody at about 11:30 pm to ask them to turn down the music. I didn't feel like getting dressed to walk to the lobby to find someone. (The hotel did reduce our bill because of the inconvenience, which was nice of them.) We were unable to have dinner at the hotel because of the wedding, so had to drive elsewhere to eat. Our breakfast the next morning was wonderful, though. My advice: don't book when they're having a wedding.

From the minute we drove into the 38 acre grounds we were impressed, the hotel is amazing. Stayed DBB sunday night deal and upgraded, stayed in room 22, beautiful room with canopy bed, lovely furnishings and lamps and window seat overlooking the gorgeous walled garden. Stairs and banister lead up to the modern bathroom huge thick fluffy white towels and full size Molton Brown toiletries, felt really pampered.

Enjoyed Pims on the terace before exploring the grounds.....wow beautiful lakes with water lillies and weeping trees around the edges. Really enjoyed dinner, drinks and menu on the terrace and then gently lead into the the restauant for a delicious dinner and wine. We had a wonderful night in a very relaxed atmophere. Breakfast was great, loads of very fresh fruit to choose from pineapple, strawberries, grapes, variety of melon slices, lovely cooked breakfast. Enjoyed every minute, would definatley return.

Our stay was on a Sunday night Wine,Dine and Stay Deal,Which we upgraded. We had an easy check in by very pleasent and efficient staff. We were booked into the Oak Room a beautiful wood panel and stone room . A modern en-suit with spa bath and shower. with an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities.
The evening meal and breakfast was un hurried and well orchestrated by friendly and professional staff . The food was delicious. All this and the beautiful well maintained grounds made for a wonderful stay to celebrate our anniversary. would recommend to anyone.

We have just celebrated our daughter's wedding at Inglewood and we cannot praise the hotel and its staff enough. From the first time we viewed the veneu 15 months prior to the wedding, to the day after the event we recieved all the help and support needed in organising the perfect wedding nothing was too much trouble.Having the ceremony in the executive room which was beautifully set up,meant they had to change it all for the wedding breakfast this was all done seamlessly and without fuss while we had photos and drinks and canopes on the terrace i couldnt believe how quickly they did this. The gardens and building is a photographers dream with so many places to get that perfect shot. All the food was excellent and the choice so varied. As for the staff from the housekeepers, waiters, kitchen and reception everyone of them made the day so special.
In the months building up to the wedding we visited Inglewood on numerous occasion to sample their hospitality and were delighted every time.so wether its for a special occasion or just a weekend break we thoroughly recommend Inglewood Manor
