“What a great replacement for SIP!”

Beautifully redecorated, from the old SIP location. The chef has done a wonderful job. The service was on point, the food was delicious and not a single misbehaved child running around the restaurant. This is definitely not a place to bring the kiddo's. Date night, special occasion or a night out with your adult friends. The place get's lively, once the music starts playing so if you want quiet, inquire about the live music schedule. We never made it past all the small plates and vodka martini's with blue cheese stuffed olives. The deep fried lobster was perfection, the salmon flatbread had just enough of everything, seared diver scallops were cooked perfectly with a Meyer lemon preserve which was a perfect compliment, spinach salad was as expected, the calamari was a little too salty, for my taste and I did not care for the sauce (this dish needs a little work) otherwise, the experience is worth visiting. Will come back again.

This was our second visit, the first being over Memorial Day weekend and this, the week before Labor Day. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was spot on both times. The decor is very nice with a barreled ceiling in the main room and a musician playing in the bar as you enter (volume just right, not too loud.) Tufted banquettes are on the wall in the main room and curved booths are in the back room. The color, although obvious, is a rich indigo. Our first visit, the chef/owner, Todd, came to our table to greet us but the last visit he was too busy which was great for them. Steaks seem to be the highlight however I had the lamb special on the last visit and it was equally delicious. The only negative I could point out is their seating makes it difficult for a party greater than 6 because the banquettes are fixed to the wall. We will definitely be back!

We’ve driven past Indigo, somehow missing it even when buying barbecue nearby. Our lack of vision was our loss, which was corrected over the weekend.

Indigo is a two thumbs up, five stars, highly recommended destination. Bistro dining with an upscale menu.

The owners have hired an enthusiastic, smart group of employees. They understand the craft of hospitality, especially Nicole.

The build-out and furnishings are expensive, well crafted, with lots of thought on table placement so that parties are not always sitting elbow to elbow. The lighting needs to be updated.

And the meal. Wonderfully prepared food. Fairly priced. Steaming hot. Serious portions, except for the calamari which was overflowing the plate. Also recommended are the pulled chicken and salmon with plantains.

We’ll be back.

These folks know how to cook fish. Both my wife and I had seafood and the fish was cooked perfectly -- Chilean Sea Bass and Grouper. Both meals came out steaming hot fresh from the kitchen. Appetizers were also very good with good-sized portions. Service was excellent -- friendly, but not overbearing. Just one complaint: the noise from the bar was intrusive. It's a small place and sound carries. There was a sizable crowd at the bar and it was loud. We weren't there for the live music, but given the small size of the dining room and all the hard surfaces, it could be too loud for conversation.

We have been meaning to give Indigo a try for awhile, as we really liked the restaurant that was previously in this space. Our party of four was seated promptly. The service was uneven; it took excessively long to get our beverages and order our entrees. The charcuterie board was a little skimpy, in our opinion. Having said all that, the food was generally good. I didn't care for the pickled vegetables with the pecan crusted grouper. My husband was very pleased with his beef tenderloin. Quite honestly, there are better fine dining options in the immediate area.
