This resort is on a private beach...whatever accommodation you choose you will love it...the place is huge with lots of trees and cottages in between them...the beach is also very private and clean out here...If you visit this place make sure that you have your own vehicle at disposal as its quite far away form the citiy..
Overall I loved this place

Checked in at around 6pm...The staff was nice and cordial and gave an extra bed with no charge for the kid. I had booked an AC cabin. However, as soon as we checked in there was power outage for 3-4 hrs. It was pitch dark but the staff arranged for candles. There was also water issue in the cottage we stayed as somebody closed the main supply and they couldn't figure out.
The beach is walk-able distance from the resort and though its not a clean beach but its fine. The food at the resort restro is just fine..nothing to scream about. The buffet breakfast is also ok ok. But too many flies and mosquitoes which make eating in the garden a tough job. The place is at a good location so it was convenient to travel around.

Here's what i liked about the resort:

(1) Location: It's a brilliant place to stay if you don't want to be away from the beach. The seating and dining deck are located right on the beach and are such a pleasure to sit and enjoy the views

(2) Food: We were a group of 10 people, so I think we tried practically half the menu while we were there. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.

(3) Service: Our waiter Paul was extremely patient and diligent in serving us, and believe me, it can get quite hectic when such a big group is ordering every 5 minutes! Thanks Paul

What I didn't like

(1) The room:
While the bed was comfortable & Clean, the room was poorly lit and the bathroom is badly planned. In an extremely tiny space, a bulky shower cubicle does not make sense, especially when you're coming back with feet full of sand and need to wash! There was no drainage for the water outside of the cubicle. Some of the water actually leaked out into our room :( The shower was smelt like hydrogen sulphide (This is not just me, the rest of the group had the same problem)

(2) The breakfast:
Awful. Tea/Coffee/juice, 3 fruits, single serve cereal and bread butter. Anything else you asked for, the staff kept repeating "chargeable". Must improve!

I have been to this place... to me GOA is Heaven..... and this was my friends marriage gift to me.....
Awesome place... I happen to take the Cottage that's just on the beach......
staff was really good...... clean room.... amenities were really good....
If you want a really calm and serene place... then this is a option to think bout.. but if you are looking for some place with heavy music and all, then pls look for some other options outside morjim....

They just need to improve their Breakfast menu.... else their menu is really good- VFM...

Room Tip: take the cottage, just on the beach......

I stayed in the AC cabin for 6 nights and the tent for 1 night. The cabins are an excellent standard and I would recommend. The resort and bar are very tranquil an its on a very nice part of the beach. The restaurant food is a great standard and very reasonable. My only watch out would be the tents - they are very basic for the price and I was glad I was only booked in for 1 night .

Room Tip: The log cabins are excellent

I am extremely impressed with this resort.

The rooms are well laid out, with adequate space between each of them. The beds are very comfortable, and the AC in the room was needed in Goa's weather.

The restaurant/ bar/ sit out looks out onto the pristine Morjim beach. The food isn't great, but at the reasonable prices they charge, I'm not complaining.

The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. I am all praises for Malcolm who arranged bikes and a fishing boat for us on very short notice.

Finally, Austen who dealt with my bookings is a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to look around for diving & fishing charters for me even before we got to Goa.

My wife left her iPhone charger behind, and Austen was kind enough to courier it to us at his cost. He refused to accept payment for the courier charges. Now that is what I call customer oriented service!

We will be back for the 2013 season for sure. Thanks for an excellent holiday guys.

Room Tip: The wooden AC rooms and nice and comfy. I looked at the beach facing tents and they are quite large...

I stayed here recently for 2 nights in April 2013. We were a group of 10 people and booked 5 log cabins. The log cabins are really cool. It's new , so still has that woody smell ... i like that. The rooms are small but comfy and they are worth what you pay for them. They are very neat and clean. Nice fresh linen. No complaints at all.

The log cabins are air conditioned although I felt they could've used better ACs since they take a long time in cooling the room down but they do a decent job in the long run. The room's are pretty low on light so it's difficult to read unless you open the blinds. You can't read at night in the room. The room doesn't have intercom so if you want to order anything , you have to walk upto the bar which is like a 100 meters approx.

The only thing where I had a problem was the bathroom. The bathrooms desperately need to have an exhaust fan. It gets too humid inside. The bathrooms are really really small. They have shower cabinets ... which is not a good idea at all. You come back from the beach and take a shower , all that sands just gets stuck inside shower cabinet. It gets dirty after 2 peopl have had a bath. I won't complain if someone can come and clean it up everyday but this is something they should think about improving.

Coming to the location - its excellent. It's by the Morjim beach. Lots of options around to eat and party. Its a little remote so the 'chalta' tourist don't come out so far which means it's peaceful and not crowded. I can't say about the peak season though.

The restaurant - is just overlooking the beach. Plenty of seating at different levels. The food was good and reasonable. The alcohol prices were also pretty reasonable and more or less what you are gonna get around the area unless you go to a liquor store.

Service is really good. The guy who served us - Paul is a great guy. He served us real well. 10 of us and all foodies. Lunch, dinner or b'fast eventually turned into ordering sprees - this guy served us patiently :) The bar and restaurant closed at 11pm. If you are going to go in the off season i.e now - stock up booze beforehand and u could sit out for as long as you want. You can also go to the beach.

A guy called Phillip works with them , he is somewhere from Europe I guess and gives Kite Surfing lessons. Check at the reception for bookings and prices. I saw him teach and then do it himself , it's something worth doing.

Overall , a great place to stay with a lovely beach and good food. I am coming back again next year :)
