I have eaten in this amazing restaurant on a number of occasions and enjoyed it's ambiance every time. It has been uniquely designed by the owner to an authentic and high specification.
At the front of the restaurant there is a small area in which to browse and purchase foodstuffs and drinks. There is also a delicatessen proffering antipasti, Italian bread and cakes and a range of meats to take away.
The staff are attentive and friendly. There are a dazzling array of dishes on offer and the staff can expertly guide you through the menu with recommendations. The atmosphere differs depending on the time of day: peaceful and relaxing in the morning to vibrant and busy in the evening.
In summary, a lovely Italian restaurant with good service and excellent food. Highly recommended!

Me and my mum went there last night..Nothing What so ever to fault about the restaurant. Excellent Food, Excellent atmosphere and excellent service. Best Italian we have had in years.
So much so we are going back again next week for my mums biirthday with all the family.
Around the same price as Pizza Express and Zizzis. But this restaurant is true Authentic Italian.
The waiter was very attentive although left us to it which was really nice..

My husband and I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening (9 March). The restaurant was absolutely packed to the gunnels and the atmosphere was very good - nice and lively. It's probably not the place to go for a romantic quiet evening as I think it is probably always going to be this busy on a Friday/Saturday evening but perhaps a little less busy during the week.

I had Proscuito ham and parmesan cheese wrapped around breadsticks followed by a pork casserole both of which were very nicely cooked, my husband had chicken livers followed by a huge plate of fish which was extremely tasty. My husband ordered chips and the waitress said that he probably wouldn't need them but he still had them - needless to say he couldn't finish the chips so she was quite right. We had a bottle of beer and a large glass of Prosecco, a bottle of Red wine, a brandy and an Amaretto coffee which came to £70 which I thought was a very good price for a very tasty meal served extremely efficiently whilst giving us time between our starter and main course. We weren't hurried at all but it was a nicely paced evening. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Bathroom facilities were clean and tidy.

Went here for second time. Interesting mix of dishes available though not much pasta. Enjoyed most of the food but we had one prawn that was definitely not cooked through - hence reduced rating. Less than overwhelmed by apology. Would have to think whether to visit again.

Have been to Ostera da Fabrizio a few times and have enjoyed it each time. They're very welcoming, the atmosphere is nice and it's good to see the chefs working at the back.

Selection of food and the wine list is pretty good. Loved the antipasti platters and the fritto misto. Have also had some delicious roast pork and pasta there.

Definitely recommend!
