I stayed at the villa with my husband and toddler, and some friends with their children in April 2013. It was beautiful - it's in a wonderfully secluded spot amonst lemon and orange groves and the villa itself is brimming with character and charm. Importantly, there was lots of space so that everyone could relax and chill out without getting under each other's feet. The outdoor space is just as great as the indoor space, with two different dining areas making socialising and eating that bit more special. There's even an outdoor kitchen, which means the designated cook can make the most of the beautiful Spanish evenings too, and not just when the BBQ is being fired up.
A swimming pool was an absolute must for us, and it didn't disappoint. It's a great sized pool so the kids can splash around and cool down, but the adults can get some lengths in too. With so much space outdoors, those who wanted to sunbathe in peace and quiet could nestle themselves away and not be disturbed by the the fun and games that the kids were having - there was plenty of room for them to play happily but still be safely in sight, elsewhere in the villa's grounds.
All in all, our stay was pretty much perfect, the level of comfort was such that there was no need or desire to leave the villa, with the exception of getting supplies for dinner and cocktail making! It's very easy to feel at home there which made it very difficult to leave. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends.
