“Time for Tea”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

What a quaint wee place just off the Main Road a few miles outside Garvagh at Arkhill Farm. Had lunch here recently and it was lovely. The place is warm and the staff are very friendly and the food very nice. Nice to see home made bread being served as opposed to mass produced. Nice place for a relaxed lunch morning or afternoon tea. Would highly recommend

“Easy to miss”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

This small, quaint tea house is only a short distance off the main road but it can easily be missed - signage could be improved. Outside has the appearance of an old whitewashed school house but inside is quite modern and very clean, if a bit short on furnishings.

The menu is ideal for breakfast, a light lunch or afternoon tea/coffee and the prices are reasonable. We found the fare (soup, lasagne and sandwiches in our case) to be very tasty and well presented by very friendly staff.

It was a wintry day when we had our meal (17 November) but the restaurant was quite cosy. It would, however, have been an ideal day for the open fire to be lit as this would have added to the ambience.

All told, this is a good spot which we hope to visit again but I would like to see their Food Hygiene Rating move up from its present 3 (Generally Satisfactory) to 4 or even the maximum of 5.
