“USPC Day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013

We visited The Vines on 29th June 2013 with the Ulster Society for the Protection of the Countryside on our annual outing. We were a party of 42 and had pre booked our meals from a very extensive menu. These were served very quickly and without fuss. The food was of a very high standard, Everyone in the group agreed that we had an excellent meal and service. We would thank Brenda Bradley and her staff for providing a most enjoyable meal.

“Vines fine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

We had a meal here on our tour of Ireland at the recommendation of our B & B. We turned up on a Saturday night without a reservation (though our B & B hostess did ring about 15 minutes beforehand). There was no difficulty in getting in - it was busy but not out of control.
The servings are large, the service was very good, the wine list was small but quaffable. Our food was good - taste, presentation, cooking - all good. We'd eat there again if we were in the area without hesitation.

“Great food and friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

Had meal at The Vines on Sunday evening with family, thouroughly enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, had the goats cheese to start followed by the chicken melt with salt n chilli chips. As the portions were generous I skipped on dessert but the rest of the group indulged and they were all impressed with them and must say the looked great. Service was friendly and prompt, alway an added bonus. Good value for money and will def be back.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

Visited the vines before when it had just opened! So glad to see that it is still as good as ever, it's good to see a place being so consistant for so long as this rarely happens! Good varied menu and only a short wait, which is understandable on a busy Saturday night. Reasonable enough prices , although food worth every penny. It's good to see a family run business make such an effort with customers as the lady owner approached us to ask was everything ok with our meal and her son served us our mains!! Keep up the good work. A credit to the owners. The people of garvagh should be proud.
