went with another couple - food was very good and the venue itself is very spacious and modern. Particularly like the fine selection of drinks: from lovely beer to very nice wine. Definitely will be back..........special offers are excellent value too.

I am not from the area and stumbled upon this place through chance after traveling the countryside looking for a homely inn. I was particularly impressed with the early evening menu and grateful for the allowance of a small upgrade fee for the cheese board. If back in the area I would certainly return to this modern fresh and inspiring food house.

Celebrated my mother's 90th birthday here last Friday 22nd March. What a wonderful find via the tripadvisor community. Went for the 3 course early bird menu and we were astonished at the variety of offerings on the menu. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. It tasted as though very good quality ingredients had been used and not one of our group of five was disappointed with their choices. The staff were professional. friendly and very helpful. They were also very accommodating when one of our party preferred to have 2 starters rather than a starter and a main course and yet another wanted strawberry ice-cream with their brownie instead of the vanilla ice-cream offered !

A warm, welcoming venue with a contemporary style and thoroughly recommended.

My partner and I came for dinner here to celebrate my birthday. Arrived early to have a drink and found a very contemporary space that was full of diners. Atmosphere was pleasant. The food was amazing!! It's not a cheap place to eat but you definitely get what you pay for. Rockliffe Hall - you could learn a lot!!! Excellent menu with good wine list. Will definitely be going back.
