We approached this hotel from a country lane, it was stunning sitting above the rolling hills surrounding Darlington.
we tuirnwed in to the drive, there itwas a castle with turrets and flags flying beautiful.
Then we walked in to a stunning reception, we were greeted with the useual best western freindly and professional staff.
The room was basic but clean and had nice veiws over the surrounding country side, a few minor maintenance issues but this was an old castle and these just added to the charm.
we went down for dinner in to a splended dinning room, very airy with very high ceillings and some very nice orioginal features, the food and service were excellent.
The bar area was small but intimate and the hotel had a very comfortable lounge where we we could take our drinks and sit on very comfortable sofas.
We then went to bed, all started well untill we actually went to sleep, we were awoken with such noise, there was some sort of fan in the next room or the room below possibly the kitchens.
We were unable to get to sleep after this as it was like sleeping in the engine room of a ship, we phoned reception but there were no staff answering the call.

So if you stop at Walworth Castle which is a great place dont accept ROOM 25More
