Exquisite property! Each villa has it's own full sized swimming pool surrounded by very private tropical gardens. Breakfast and afternoon tea provided. The meals were excellent. Staff very polite and accommodating. Free shuttle from the airport and there is a free return shuttle into Ubud hourly. (Although if you can't wait for a shuttle A$10 will get you there and back and the driver waits for you!) Not a place for the unfit/older traveller as the grounds are very spread out (affording privacy). Our villa was one of the furtherest from the lobby and a bit of a hot humid trek.
The bed was huge! Very comfortable! No mosquitos! Highly recommend Royal Pita Maha for a 'special" few days away.

My favorite place in all of Bali -- it just doesnt get more fantastic than this -- classically Balinese beautiful, elegant, sacred and delicious -- all rolled up in the most gorgeous, lush surroundings in all of Bali. A must-see, even if only for a late afternoon drink to watch the sun go down while witnessing some of the most lush jungle green on the planet.

Room Tip: All rooms are created equally elegant.

Although it is a little expensive than the resorts nearby, royal pita Maha is just worth the money.

Breathtaking views, excellent service, private pool, organic food, everything is perfect.

Free transportation is value added, and so is the spa offer within the package

Free shuttle bus make it so easy to go around Ubud.

And you can ask the driver to drop you at the the famous BBQ restaurant and pick you up later.

Traditional Bali style resort, world class service standard, unique natural views within the resort, wonderful place to experience Ubud

This place was truly amazing. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and this place was really magical. The rooms were beautiful and the view couldnt get better. The grounds were INCREDIBLE! We spent half a day just roaming around the gardens and river.

One thing that could be improved is the food. Of course we didnt really want to eat in hotels while we were in Bali, but we did want to have a nice lunch with the amazing view one day. The food was meh at best. Besides that, this place will treat you like royalty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a beautiful hotel with villa accommodation perched on the side of a cliff with stunning views everywhere you look. The villas are exremely spacious with a vast bedroom and lounge room opening on to your private terrace with infinity pool overlooing the view. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a choice of dining venues and they also offer a shuttle service into town.My husband and I have just spent 9 very relaxing days here and cant wait to go back.

Room Tip: This hotel is on the side of a cliff so villas closer to reception involve less walking.
