Hotel De la Ville is about 30-40 minutes drive from Milan. It is easily accessible by car. There is free parking at the hotel.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. Our family stayed in the room for three. There was a large twinbed and an extra bed plus a couch turned into a bed. The room was very big. Bathroom was spacious with a bathtub.

We requested a quiet room to protect the sleep of our children and the room was the furthest one (no 30) so there were no disturbance at night. Though you could notice that you could hear talk easily from the corridor if there were people outside.

There is a pool with a high slide (looks a bit wobbly) and a playarea. The kids said the water tasted bad. The playarea was nice but outdated from an adult point of view.

Breakfast included yoghurts, cereal (many types), juice, croissants, buns, cake, buiscits and fresh fruit, and coffee. My husband was missing a source of protein at breakfast- it seems in Italy breakfast doesn't really cater to that need anywhere.
We wanted to visit Milan during our stay, the receptionist was very helpful and adviced us to drive to Famagosta-parking area and to take a metro from there to the centre of Milan. This was very helpful because we dreaded driving into the centre. And the metro was a great adventure for the children (5&6) and people in the subway very helpful and made sure me (the mother) and the kids had places to sit. Italian hospitality made an impression! And finding the Famagosta parking and subway was very straightforward with the reseptionist's advice.

The restaurant of the hotel is open only on weekend so we couldn't try it. There were anyhow a few very nice pizzerias in the Bereguardo-village 1km from the hotel.

This hotel was a wonderful experience and definately would recommend for anyone from couples to families!

This little place hidden in the countryside offers a superior quality/ price ratio. Clean, comfortable rooms with courteous personnel. You can rest by the pool or enjoy reading a book in the shadow of one the trees present in the backyard park

The staff was Very nice and warm, willing to help. The hotel is in a quiet area outside of the village of Bereguardo. Good surroundings for runners and cyclists, near the protected area of Ticino river.
