I only write reviews - generally - about very bad or very good restaurants...but this average one needs mentioning. The food was very good, but I always believe that food is only 40 per cent of the picture. There's ambience, special touches and SERVICE. I don't know what was up with the older guy who served but he never smiled, accommodated or
cared about us. We had to ask for ice for our wine bucket and waited too long for water and never got a single smile. Smiles can be over-rated, but this was beyond the pale. The chef was lovely, however - maybe it was her dream and not his?
