Description: Located next to the River Yare in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, The Reedham Ferry Inn offers patrons a true country Pub atmosphere, with much of its history hanging on the walls of the 16th century building, alongside the history we offer Local Ales, a Contemporary Rustic Menu, picturesque views and most importantly, the last operating chain Ferry in East Anglia. For the last 65 Years and still at present The Archers have honoured serving their patrons and pride themselves on using local, proper, good quality foods. The Menu changes on a seasonal basis to keep our patrons interested and eager to return.

Lovely location, sat outside lunchtime and was extremely busy. My partner went inside for a menu and drinks and I returned later to make a food order, both of us agreed the blonde lady behind the bar was very sour faced and not customer friendly at all. The food was expensive for what we received, but okay, the young waitresses were lovely, blonde lady take note, as she is the reason we will not return.

We've had many great nights in The Ferry, over many years while staying at the Reedham Ferry Touring Park. The food is of the highest quality, if a touch expensive but service has always been good and cheerful.

Decided to show a friend some East Anglian countryside with a trip on a little ferry and some refreshment in a nearby pub. The Reedham ferry could only take two normal sized vehicles. The blurb gives £3.70 as the cost of a carload for a single crossing. We were charged £4.00+. Thankfully traffic was light before midday so we crossed without much delay. The nearby pub was also very quiet until just after we arrived when it seemed to fill up very quickly. With the sun not being very co-operative all patrons chose to sit indoors. Being one of the first customers service was very quick. The food was hot and tasty. Helpings quite substantial.

Food certainly isn't what it used to be. Lovely seating area by the river, but oddly, if sitting out there, couldn't run a tab (even by leaving a credit card behind the bar, so having no cash on hand, we ordered food and drinks and decided against any more drinks as rounds would have been way under the £10 card minimum. Odd.
